(1) First Card Images of 'EX Battle Boost' [5/15]

btw, If the set has new cards, maybe this set will still be released in the west... And I honestly think it would be a shame if we didn't get these artworks released here...

EDIT: Also, the booster box shows Mewtwo-EX and White Kyurem-EX are in the set too. And just like Reshiram-EX and Zekrom-EX, they're shown with the original artwork, no alternate artwork. So, I guess that means the reprinted EXs in the set won't have new artwork...

Also, it helps confirm my belief that the set might include the mascots of each jap BW set:
.BW Collection - There's Reshiram and Zekrom EX but BW collection had no EXs. The fact that there's a spot between Emboar and Reshiram-EX, may indicate the regular Reshiram and Zekrom will also be reprinted since those 2 cards were the actual macots of the first set(s).

So, I'm expecting Victini (Red Collection) to be in the set. I'm not sure about Kyurem-EX (Hail Blizzard) though because there's already Black and White Kyurem.
Now, these images don't show any reprinted Plasma card, so I don't know if there will be any. But if there is, then I expect Lugia-EX, Deoxys-EX and Thundurus-EX to be in the set too (Which is curious because we will get those in tins with alternate artwork, even though, like I said, it seems the EXs in this set won't have new artwork). Not sure about Genesect-EX because it was just printed in the set before but that means nothing in concrete, so I don't know...

Then you look at Reshiram and Zekrom EX, and Terrakion. You had one job TCGi....

Out of paranoia I checked to see if the artwork got snatched from there. Fortunately, it was not.

Hopefully they manage to sneak in the forgotten Legendaries (i.e. Regirock/ice, Arceus and because I'm delusional to the chances of them including it, Phione), whether as EX cards or not.

I hope they at least put Regice there. I would like to see a Mesprit-EX here too.
 
I for one love that Terrakion card, I was actually laughing at it for a pretty long time - especially after I read the Charlie Brown comment because that's exactly what popped into my mind.
 
I definitely love the artwork their putting out in this set. At this point, I would probably buy boxes even if there were no new cards, but of course the hints of new cards are giving me hope that we might still see a Suicune EX. I hope sales of this set, like Shiny Collection, show to Pokémon that people are willing to pay for artistic innovation and that we might hopefully see more creative artwork like this in the future.
