(1) Genesect Wi-Fi Event Starting October 7th [9/7]

Weird... I guess since I won't really be able to download it the exact day I pick up the game I'll have to go back and get it later, but it's nice to have a date on when Genesect will be available. Poor Meloetta's getting so neglected right now... Wonder what their plans are for it? Right now there's a hole in the 'Dex (though since they don't list Genesect's number, anyone who doesn't know about Genesect already won't realize Meloetta comes between it and Keldeo).
 
Wow, Meloetta is feeling lonely. :p I'm suprised Genesect got released this early though.
 
I can't be the only one thinking they've got generation 6 done and ready to release.

I feel they're releasing all the "secret" Pokémon too fast. (not that I'm complaining :3)

Genesect is one of my favorites looking that cool and all. I'm really glad for the distribution, and cannot wait! We'll just have to wait for Meoletta... :(
 
Well, they can't NOT release Keldeo or Meleotta because of the movie, I have no clue why genesect is out so early in america though. however, "the Genesect movie" comes out next year in japan. It is still really early, though.
 
Is this the first time they've released a "secret" Pokemon this early? I mean, it's not even out in Japan yet, is it?

Yeah, it's really interesting how narrow the gaps between Japan and NA are getting with events. Crazy. Here's hoping they're also distributing it to BW1.

Genesect's Japanese event ended a few weeks ago iirc,

My thoughts exactly. Looks like there'll be a Meloetta giveaway soon if they're going through the new Pokemon this quickly...

The in-store distributions have since ended, but it will remain available on Wi-Fi until the 14th.
 
Wait, so there has to be a grey now, (IMO) because they rushed like all the legends except melotta and they haven't even come out with the genesect movie yet.... I really hope :)
 
Meloetta has to come first. I also expected Genesect to be distributed in the US by the end of this year. Now I'm thinking: there doing a launch event. Just like with Black and White, TPCi and Nintendo of America are giving fans even more reasons to buy Black 2 and White 2 on launch day. This is just like what they did with Victini. Having a launch event over Wi-Fi, then having it's movie distribution the following year. I know we'll see details on Meloetta for the US soon. It's in the first Best Wishes! Series 2 episode which is set to air in October. Meloetta is also in Pokedex 3D Pro, which releases November 8th 2012.
 
There giving away Genesect this early? Why do they want to rush through and end the awesomeness that is Gen 5? Or maybe there getting ready for Pokemon gray....In which case that would be awesome!
 
Aw yeah, Genesect is coming! I'm surprised they haven't announced Melloetta though.
 
My guess is that they will probably distribute Meloetta around the end of the month, or maybe they will anounce it for distribution ALSO in October 7th.

But...Why is Gen V going to end so quickly? This could mean good news, but also could mean bad news, y'know. Oh and for those that say Grey/Gray is coming, I don't think it will.

Still, I am excited for the event.
