I came to these forums to first ask about Bibarels 'unaware' body 
haha its been a very funny and happyhappy ride i <3 pokemon and the pokebeach..this is the best site when it comes to news about pokemon hope this stays forever happy bday pokebeach and thank you so much WPM for giving us this

I remember stumbling upon this place via Google and remembering how noobish I was really early on.
It's something I'd like to forget (the noobish events), but not joining the forum in the first place.

Wow, nine years, happy birthday to PB. It's really a great place not just for Pokemon, but as a community, having been here for almost 3 years, I really accredit PB to being that place I would like to go and just talk and have fun. PB is a microcosm of the real world it seems, it's crazy it's been around for nine years. Congrats to WPM and PB.

Happy Belated Birthday PokeBeach! As a fellow filmmaker as well (Studying Radio-TV-Film at the University of Texas at Austin) I would like to say congrats on all your work. I've been coming to this site for years now and I am glad you're still working on it. I've dreamt of working on animated films or games but would not mind doing effects and CG/3D models for a live action Pokemon movie in the future Hope your dreams come true and again congrats for keeping this site up for nine years now!!

Yeah this site has become that much more cooler every year. I remember the old commenting system we used to have back then. (Before the forums even existed) That worked for awhile and then in 2005 I joined the forums after about 6 months of still bouncing between the forums and the old system and I remember when Holy Star crashed the forums. Etc We had to use the Commenting system while that was down. Sadly but it worked while they were restored.
Anyway it had been good times bad times old times and new times. Happy B day Pokebeach.

Heh, hard to believe I've been here for about a year here. Without the site, I don't even know what I'd be doing. In terms of competitive play, I don't think I'd have ever heard of such a thing. Most of what I learn(ed) here I can also use in VGC, so in some respects, I part of why I got to Nats in my first year of VGC (this year) was because of these forums. I'd just like to say thanks.
These forums aren't the first forums we had. There could be people who were on the original forums who signed up a little later on this incarnation and are still active.
Oh man...that's amazing. WPM, you are absolutely amazing. Keep doing what you're doing, and we will never desert you. Some of us will leave, but we sure as heck won't forget all the times we had here. Thank you, WPM, for bringing everyone together and making a site like this. I met so many amazing people and had so many good times that I can't even begin to describe. Keep it up, WPM. We love you, I love you...just...^^
