(1) 'HeartGold & SoulSilver' Poster Packs [12/28]

That Lugia art is fantastic. But then again, what art in this set hasn't been beyond expectations?

Can't wait to see more promotional projects. Being a new set block, I'm sure there will be many that look just great.
 
Yeah, the Lugia art is really quite good. The Ho-oh art takes the overall cake for me though.

Two poster packs which is great but the Promos don't exactly look the best...

It looks to me like our cards might have the Japanese 'gold and silver' border, or something close to it. Does anyone else see it?
 
Speaking of the borders, if is that ugly yellow one, i am gonna cry big time, since im sick of seeing that ugly one and cant PUI change the borders....oh snap :[
 
WPM. I sure hope they find you laptop. Sounds like someone has gotten it and has stolen it. I can't figure out why the cashier did not report it though. I find that odd on their end. Try asking their customer Service to see if they had picked it up. Anyway the box art and art it self are pretty cool also.:)

Unfortunately, that border looks distinctively yellow to me. =/

I don't think these'll be DP54 and DP55, not least because they're out in February. This isn't the DP series any more - Platinum could get away with DPxx, but I don't think HeartGold & SoulSilver can. HSxx, GSxx or Lxx, that's my reckoning.
 
Ho-oh looks great. Lugia does also, but I think they could have done better with him.

-Off topic, does anyone know anything about a pre-release for this set. I'm new and missed out on the Arceus release.
 
Yes! I was hoping those two cards would make it over here. I also wish they would change the borders to match the Japanese cards, same with the back of the cards. After 10 years, it would be nice to the same borders and backs as Japan, but that's just me.

Now, my feelings about the update: WOW, the Lugia is OUTSTANDING for what it is, but for some reason Ho-Oh puts me into the Johto spirit more. Well, they're both great!

I wonder how much they will be.
Probably 10-15 bucks I'm guessing.
2 packs and 2 POP packs won't be bad for 10 bucks.
 
I guess I'll get one of each and hang up the posters as the two dfferent sides.

I expect they'll be POP8, yes. You can see two HS boosters and one other, silver, booster in the images - the POP8 booster is the only silver POP Series booster of late, so I expect it's that (or, rather, two of them).
 
Hm. I'm really interested in getting this. I really want to get back into TCG and those posters look kickbutt, so, this should definitely be a pick-up for me. :]
 
...WHY are the boosters POP8, though?
Sure, POP9 isn't as good, but it still contains a number of nice cards - and it's newer... (besides, I already have all the POP8-cards :p)
