Wow, that foreign shiny trick is news to me. I've never seen that 2,000 HP card before either. I'm torn between two choices on the new poll. Oh well, I guessed.

The Japanese text below the 2000HP apparently means "Lie," but the quiz was asking for what was printed on the card--so it still counts!
 
oh i picked steelix :p. it made sence to me i have a trained steelix and i thought i knew him very well but.....i don't.
 
Steelix can be poisoned. (Poison-type moves can't affect Steel-types, but they can otherwise be poisoned by Twineedle).
Infernape can be burned by Tri Attack. Glalie can be frozen by Tri Attack.
Smeargle can use Petal Dance. Darkrai can sleep. Body Slam on Rhydon. However Victerbell cannot be poisoned due to its type.
The correct answer is Victreebel cannot be poisoned.

Confuse a Smeargle with Technician.

Awesome work! I didnt think bout this quiz that far, but yah! You are 100% corect.
I thought Victreebel could also be poisoned by Twineedle but blah! :p Its already Poisoned (as it is Poison type) !
 
Victreebel can be poisoned by effect spore, can't it?

^Read his post on the main page. It says 25% chance.

Uhh... no. Twinneedle = Poisoned Victreebel.=/ Even if Smeargle uses Petal Dance, it won't be confused 'cause of Own Tempo. It prevents it completely. And, yes, Effect Spore is another option, that can affect all Pokémon (including Steelix...)

I, myself voted for the "Thunder/Protect" one, 'cause I never new of the japaneze promo, and I've never seen that happen. Nice one, WPM.
 
Smeargle has two possible abilites. Impossible means no matter what it has, it can't be affected. Smeargle can have Technician and be confused. It's completely possible.

Let's see...first 2 are affected by Tri Attack.

Darkrai can be hit by Dark Void or Effect Spore.

Ape is hit by Tri Attack.

Smeargle is Confused when it has Technician.

Victreebel is hit by Effect Spore or Toxic Orb.

So is Steelix.
 
People are going to say "of course youre wrong" when I say this, but Steelix can be hit by toxic spikes, right?
