I go to GameStop (even though there's a Target in the same center), because 1) Target doesn't sell used games, 2) I hate Target.I don't exactly approve of their business practices, selling DS games for $40 when you can get the exact same game at Target for essentially $30 (with a pre-order).
*shrug* Looks like I save money.Deus: Nightmare Autarch said:I go to GameStop (even though there's a Target in the same center), because 1) Target doesn't sell used games, 2) I hate Target.
wait wait wait wait wait(since I only recently found out White 2 doesn't get Challenge Mode, I need to get both versions now)

I think it's actually better business for Nintendo to do it at Gamestop, since it's already selling games, and Gamestops are usually in more places than Toys R Us. For myself, I can just drive 3 minutes down the street for a Gamestop; for Toys R Us I have to take 10 minutes and hop into the next city over.
Except that there are less overall Toys R Us stores in existence...and they run events very terribly. I remember the one near me did not get the Zoroark event for the whole week it was supposed to have happened, even though supposedly the Nintendo rep was coming to the store.(since I only recently found out White 2 doesn't get Challenge Mode, I need to get both versions now)

That, and Toys R Us is just a really disgusting place in general.
This...is actually pretty believable. It wouldn't shock me. I'm just fortunate to have a great GameStop near me, it seems...Some locations have some pretty shady employees who essentially only work there to hoard the pre-order gifts intended for customers. This same breed of employee at some point have actually ripped distribution carts and posted them online for flash cart users. It's my belief that this is the reason that every event after the 2008 Deoxys promotion until the 2010 shiny Pichu promotion was hosted at Toys R Us (as punishment for GameStop allowing that to happen).
