(1) Keldeo Distribution at Gamestop from August 27th to October 6th [8/4]

Step 1: Walk into Gamestop. (But sometimes the signal reaches outside)
Step 2: Turn on the DS and load Pokemon Black/White.
Step 3: Go to the "Mystery Gift" option in the main menu.
Step 4: Choose "Get by wireless".
Step 5: Download.
Step 6: Select "Continue".
Step 7: Go to any PokeMart and talk to the deliveryman. I think he had red clothes. Also, you need to have at least 1 free slot in your party.
Step 8: After you get the Keldeo, save the game.

According to what I've seen on other sites, Black 2 gets Challenge Mode and White 2 gets Assist Mode - you need to do the Unova Link function for each version to get the other's Mode (just like what you have to do with the Regi Key items).

Huh, I read on Serebii that both games have both keys. I will ask my friend at League about the Challenge/Assist mode keys, since I believe he possesses a copy of Black and/or White 2.

You can have both keys. You don't "trade" a key away, you "obtain" the opposite. I wish they were reversed, I want to play Black2 on challenge mode (I don't like Reshiram as much).I read that on there as well and was confused also, but read through a few times and it made sense.

I plan to get White 2, but I know a guy who has Japanese copies of the game, so hopefully I can obtain the Challenge Mode key from the very start of the game :D

What are people complaining so much? We are getting Keldeo earlier than EVERYONE expected! Yes, it's not on Wi-Fi, and you're surprised??? Keldeo is a debutting Pokemon. Why would it be over Wi-Fi??
Am I one of the only ones that are amazed we are getting Keldeo in the US, before the Japanese events ends? Am I one of the only ones that is amazed that this event will be active for OVER A MONTH? When Darkrai debuted, it's event was only a weekend, Shaymin's and Arceus's was a week. Now we are getting a debutting Pokemon for over a month! Stop complaining, and look at how far we come!

It's more nitpicking that's caused by our laziness and lack of good location than it is complaining. Some don't have GameStops in convenient locations. Obviously, GameStop paid someone a good amount for exclusivity, but with all the Wi-Fi events that have been done, including the Liberty Pass for Victini, it would have been nice if that could have been the case again. And yeah, getting Keldeo early is nifty, but it's more of a requirement if they really don't want it on NA/EU BW2's. Lucky Japanese, I suppose.

I agree :) I really thought it would come to US and Europe in november maybe. :p Just gotta hope they don't skip Sweden for some random reason xD Since I have a japanese Black 2 I will also be able to download Genosect this month :D
 
I get what NachoMan is saying. This is the first time Keldeo is being distributed, so I was already expecting and in-store distribution.

Thanks again, TheOtterBoy! I showed this to my younger son last night (without telling him what it was about) and his eyes opened up just about as wide as possible! He is very excited, and thinks he will have no problem with it!
 
Does anyone know if the distribution will be at EB Games? The nearest Gamestop is a 4 hour drive. :p
(P.S.I live in a nowhere town, prefer Wi-Fi really :D)
 
I can't wait to get an official english Keldeo.

Keldeo is very adorable as I've got a plushie of Keldeo in which I own.
 
I remember going to get the Jirachi at Gamestop a few years back. They had this panflet sort of thing that told you how to do it. They should do that but also have a code to get stuff like a C-gear skin, pokedex skin, or dolls. That would be sweet.

Keldeo has been revealed on Pokemon.com! This confirms it's the one that unlocks the event in Black 2 and White 2. It's the same one that Japan is getting right now.

Finally Keldeo is official here in the US! Awesome. Can't wait to get to GameStop next Monday!
