(1) Kyurem EX, Regigigas EX, and Other BW3 Cards Revealed! [9/1]

Oh snap, those cards look amazing! As far as playability goes I'm not sure how great they are but I will take a better look at them later. I'm just happy to see some more awesome EX cards to be revealed! ^.^

Kyurem's artwork looks amazing, and looks like a solid card to boot. I could also definitely see Regigigas finding it's place into other current decks in the metagame. Maybe we'll start seeing RegiPhlosion decks pop up once the card hits stateside.
Wow, Kyurem sucks. I'd stick to using the spread damage version. Regigigas is even worse, I don't understand the wording of his Giga Power attack.

From the wording it sounds like it does 60+20X, where X is any number you choose. You then do 20X damage to yourself.
If that's the way it's actually worded you could KO your opponent's high HP Pokemon turn 2 and then start using Raging Hammer Turn 3 to KO pretty much everything else
Lots of hate on Kyurem. He isn't THAT bad. RegiJesus is just a boss. 60 + 60 OHKO's almost any non-ex or prime, and still leaves him with 120 HP. And he's free to KO anything with his second attack next turn. (Did I mention the double colorless abuse?) Mewtwo is still the best EX by far, but these two are cool stuff. The artwork is awesome too. 
Kyurem isn't very good. As a regular card, I can see him being alright, but because the opponent takes 2 prizes when you knock it out, it's just bad.
Regigigas has potential, but I'm not sure I'm in love with it yet.
The thing I like, however, is that these EX cards sort of balance the format. Yes, Zekrom and Reshiram both do 120, but these EX cards can withstand a hit from them with their massive 180 HP. However, the EX mechanic makes it so there's a risk involved in running them. And because all of the EX cards revealed so far are basic pokemon, other Pokemon such as Yanmega who hit for low amounts of damage will not necessarily be as powerful.

I find Kyurem EX to be very good and better than Mewtwo EX for 1 big reason... Feraligatr Prime, could potentially KO Mewtwo EX Turn 3 However, because of this I beleive Regiphlosion/Regiboar will be even better do to the rage attack.

Kyurem EX doesn't beat Mewtwo. If Kyurem is fully charged Mewtwo's X-Ball does 120, enough for a 2HKO. In other words, you are swapping prizes, except Mewtwo requires 1 energy and Kyurem requires 3-4. Also, Mewtwo can attack turn 1, Kyurem can't. So, Mewtwo EX is on the top of the ladder.

How? Mewtwo and Kyurem are both basic, so that doesn't matter, but Mewtwo needs 1 DCE and Kyurem needs 1 DCE and 2 Water or 4 Water. Also, keep in mind Kyurem can't use Hail Blizzard consecutively, so it has to alternate between it's attacks, resulting in 180 damage in 2 turns. However, if Mewtwo has an Eviolite it does 140 damage total in 2 turns, not enough for a KO. However, if Kyurem is holding an Eviolite, Mewtwo still hits it for 200 damage, easily enough for a KO. Overall, Mewtwo is faster, more consistent, has better swarmability, and can KO Kyurem faster than it can be KOed back if you use Eviolite.

And If Kyrum runs Lost remover there goes your attachment while Feraligatr Wrecks your Mewtwos. That's the flaw Mewtwo is relying on 4 special energy, if one is prized and another is lost zoned that leaves only two energy to contend with a pokemon that could cause Mewtwo to discard those 2 dce every turn.

Yeah hopefully there is a special ruling like "EX Pokemon can't be searched by Pokemon Collector/ Dual Ball" cause in my opinion they aren't normal Basics anymore.
But at least they all have weaknesses, either a not that great weakness (Regigigas is weak to Donphan and could have an inner conflict after one Earthquake... and Mewtwo is weak to itself which is kind of funny) or not that great attacks like Kyurem EX (okay, it could stop Mewtwo and Regigigas from attacking, but all in all I think it's mediocre).
As mentioned before I'm happy if they couldn't be searched by Collector, because then they are pretty good balanced... .
I love the artwork, and I am also relived that all the EX cards won't be overpowered, but 180 HP is WOAH!
