(1) Life Lesson! [6/31]

Wow. May I just say... Holy crap.

There's almost never any kind of problem like this with my family, very few fights and disagreements, but all the same, I'll keep this lesson in mind.

Something similar to this happened to me.

My Mom and I had a fight over my boyfriend one night, and I was about to go to my room, but she managed to get me to stay in the living room.

That night we had a house fire. The smoke alarm didn't catch it, but I heard it in the attic.

I think if I had gone to my room, we both would've died. Kinda made me open my eyes a bit to the same lesson you learned. =D

Hope your dad really is okay! It's good that God was probably just teaching y'all a lesson instead of actually taking him away. =D

Dear Water Pokemon Master,
Condolences upon your grandma's anniversary, may she rest in peace.

I believe there is an important lesson learned for everyone here.
No matter what happens in life, family is family and we have been reminded how easily it can be destroyed by uncontrolable forces and by our very own hands.

Take this time to heal all wounds.

Peace.

I'm so sorry WPM. :(
I'm glad your Dad is okay, I'd hate if anything even NEAR that happened to my family.

/comforts =[

WPM, I'm glad your Dad is okay.

Guys, never take your parents for granted. Make sure every day you tell them you love them, and don't let silly things get in the way. I almost lost both of my parents last year.

Just goes to show what happens if you have conflicts with your close ones. Sorry to hear that, WPM.
My deepest apologies to your grandmother's passed soul, I hope it finds she finds her way to heaven.
Besides that, I pray everyone around the world lives happily ever after, and never ever haves any family problems.

Come to think of it, I have family problems of my own. Loads of them. I am always fighting with my sister and my father. And what's worse, my mother's extremely sick and has more than 3 deadly diseases. I hate to think what can happen if...

.... Hmm... Does everyone here suffer in life, I wonder... :(

Nothing bad has happened since I've been around, but I would have about three more uncles than I do now if they were still alive. My mom talks about them a lot, and they sounded like good men.

Hope your dad does well, WPM

I always leave with saying goodbye, even to friends or so.
And I always wait untill they say it back.
You'll never know ,he :)

You're dad was very luck WPM, hope he's doing well. (and the rest of you're family offcourse)

Glad to hear some luck has come your way. If you've got the time,IM me. I get the feeling you're one of the few pseudo adults around here, and I'd like tot alk to you about something. :]

DictatrDauntless

I won't be around again til at least after noon eastern though. Good luck with your day.

I totally agree with you. My grandma died couple of years ago, she was only 63 years old, I don't know about you guys, but I consider it still young enough for dying. We had some issues unresolved. She had a stroke night later. It's kinda still bugging me.
You should cherish your time with your family, glad your dad is ok.

Im gonna disown my parents after this season and never see them again. Ever and full stop period ;).

That was a good post, WPM. We often take people like out family for granted, and we shouldn't. Hopefully you've showed some people this. I know you've shown me.
