(1) Mewtwo's Fourth Move [9/24]

Electro Ball is completely uselss because if something is slow enough that Electro Ball would outdamage T-Bolt, its probably too low a level to survive a T-Bolt. I mean, you could keep it just to show that it is the event Mewtwo, but that's it.

So it would be better for in-game use as it will perform better if used that way? I hope so. Thanks.:)

I knew that. I was talking about the move Electro Ball. The percentages are very confusing to me and I still don't understand because I don't have B/W yet and I am trying to find a way to get it so I can figure the move out better. I have to get it so I can trade with members anyway as I only have 2 members I can trade with ATM. Thanks though.:)

  • 150 base power, if target's speed is lower or equal to ¼ (25%) of user's speed.
  • 120 base power, if target's speed is greater than ¼ (25%) of user's speed and lower or equal to ⅓ (33%) of user's speed.
  • 80 base power, if target's speed is greater than ⅓ (33%) of user's speed and lower or equal to ½ (50%) of user's speed.
  • 60 base power, if target's speed is greater than ½ (50%) of user's speed.

How do I know if their speed is at 25% or not. Mewtwo's speed at max is 416 I think so a Pokemon's speed would have to be about 104 or less to have 150 Power right? In which case it would probably KO a Snorlax like the rivals Snorlax for instance? That sounds about right for max power to me. If I am still wrong I need estimate actual speeds to figure this out better. Sorry if I am annoying I just can't seem to grasp the correct speeds yet. Thanks. I am slow at difficult figures XD.:)

Apparently since you don't seem to get the hint, I'll tell you in very simple words.

When it comes to Mewtwo (or pretty much any Pokemon not named Electrode), Thunderbolt > Electroball.

Every.

Single.

Time.

Its just about opposite of what you were thinking xxAshxx, unless I too am misunderstanding. Its power is 150 if the opponent's speed is 25% or less, so if it has like 100 speed or less at lv 100. Then as it increases, the power goes down. In Ubers, you're going to be getting 60's and 80's most of the time.

It needs it so it can defeat Keldeo more easily in the next movie. After firing off so many Psychics at the other three, it runs out of PPs.
