(1) Nationals Winners Crowned! [6/28]

I don't think so but the Masters winner is the famous Pooka from the 'Gym.

Aww no one I know. I was really pulling for grafton to take the event.

Also do we know what decks 2nd 3rd and 4th places was using?

Awesome! Noah and Nathaniel Lawson are my cousins. Tomorrow I'll call them to find out find out what they were playing.

I think Alyam has a Gym account as Gengarpwns. I'm suprised Gengar/Nidoqueen won since Flygon was beating it all day.
Grafton got out in top 32, Jonathan got top 8.

Congratulations to whoever won!

And yeah... knowing what type of deck the 2nd, 3rd and 4th placers used would be cool to know.

Either way, congrats, again, to all ya'll.

Congrats to the winners, now the winning decks are giving big ideas of what is going to be played at Worlds in 6 weeks.

Masters 3rd place, LUXIA (Luxray/Palkia) FTW.

Congrats. I am going to enter in city next year. No one competes, so it MIGHT be easy... Then there is only one other league in my state, so that might be easy as well.

Machamp winning for Juniors is kind of dumb...

I mean, how big is the junior bracket in US nats of all things to not run into a Junior that runs Toxitank?

Machamp won? o_O Then again, this was in Juniors, and as a stated in another thread there are a lot more "newbie" decks there than any other division. Also, Machamp could have hit the luck card. Based on how he desrcibed the final match, he seemed he donked the first time, got beat by his opponent after a long run in Game 2, and then donked the opponent in Game 3 for the win.

Gengar winning in Seniors was mildly expected (that or Flygon, really.), but Luxape was a little bit more of a surprise. Still, I'm glad these decks won over something like Machamp.

Yeah, but most Machamp players go for the T1 donk. Good Machamp decks NEVER always go for the T1, they don't depend on it. Going for the T1 just leads you to defeat a lot of the time.

Gengar, now it's going to be overplayed at Worlds since it won Nats.

Luxape, well that wasnt very much expected was it?I personally hoped that flygon would win.

The Machamp deck the winner played seemed to be straight Machamp....which goes for the donk. The only "unique" thing it had was Claydol.

If it was a Lumineon/Dusknoir variant, I could have seen that winning, but not straight Machamp.

Hmmm... Justin Whitaker sounds vaguely familier to me.
It's pretty expected that the most popular decks won, though. Meh.

Nobody I've heard of. Oh well. Luxape is a complete surprise, so that's great.

dmaster out.
