i didnt look at the images of the arceus cards, so im thinking they will be like the deoxys cards and have some sort of effect where you search for another type of arceus and replace it with your active one. that would be cool. just switch its type according to your opponents deck.

Something tells me that they're going to cut out the Arceus cards when they're supposed to come out.

Isn't 1 Lv.X enough? We know we're screwed when God gets a Lv.X, but 3?

I hope you are right, because 12 Arceus cards in the english set, is too many.

I don't like having "fire arceus", or "whatever" arceus. I'd rather have plates be tools with added effects. Here's an exapmle:

Fist plate Pokemon tool.-
Attach this pokemon tool to your active arceus, or arceus or arceus lv.X.

Arceus is now a [F] type:
Weakness: [P] *2
Resistance:
Arceus now has this pokebody - tectonic plates:
If arceus is attacked on the bench, you may flip a coin, if heads, search your deck for any pokemon tool. Show it to your opponent, and put it in your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

Judgment dojo: [F][F][F][F] Switch your opponents active pokemon with one of their benched pokemon, and put 10 damge counters on it. Discard one fighting energy attached to arceus. If your opponent has no benched pokemon, this attack fails.




Thats the type of mechanic I wanted with arceus.

Same here. Different cards for the same pokémon only when it have different forms, like Rotom, Castform, Deoxys, Unown, etc

Multiple arceus also lowers the value of arceus cards, which if even decent in metagmae would be worth a lot.

Well who knows, all the Arceus' might be super rare OR a couple may be as good as Uxie. You really can't complain about anything until we get translations.

I guess so.

Honestly, I just don't see arceus being a techy-tech if you know what I mean. I know it's wrong to make any thoughts like that before we get translations, but it's like saying that some brand new charizard card might be a tech. Usually, "hard hitters"/pops aren't used as techs. Don't tell me that my thoughts are rediculous, or something, because i'm just comparing arceus to other highly anticipated hard hitters.

I hope the artwork for the Set's Arceus Lv.X is better than the artwork I've seen so far... (So far, only the Lv.X artwork for the Psychic/Electric deck looks good to me...)
