(1) Pokemon 151 Brand Shuts Down [12/15]

Well obviously Pokebeach is to be blame for that; it's a "good" blame, though. (You're taking all their customers. Pokebeach FTW!) Besides, I think $30 is tops for a shirt, no matter how awesome it is, unless it has something to do with mollusks. ^_^

Dogasu reported on this recently, it's quite depressing. I'll have to come up with some money to pick up a shirt or two shortly before prices skyrocket. =/

Pidgeotto is just one pokemon, however. Perhaps one poke that represented each element like GF did in one of the Pokemon Stadium posters; this way, everyone would be happy instead of just Pidgeotto-a-holics. ^_^
 
what!!! I planed to buy a pair of Shirts for christmas, althought I have my own contacts in japan and in this summer I bought Mewtwo and Articuno ones...
but, it's very sad, because the design of every t-shirt was so cool! ^^
 
Sad to see them go, but I really didn't care much for them. ^_^; Not at $50 a shirt, anyways.
 
aww, i was hoping to see charizard, ninetales, and mew on one of those shirts. and i was hoping it would catch on over here in the states. such a shame. i have to at least get one of those shirts. all 5 of the designs are really nice. and i love how creepy the hypno one is.
if they are shutting down because of money a issue, they should just have lowered the prices, really. i would have bought one right away if it was $25 or less.
 
I was hoping for a Gyarados one. *Sniff* ;[ Oh well, it was expensive, so they kinda deserve it.

That's too bad, but the shirts are a bit over-priced. I've always admired the designs because they actually look like adult clothing. Another point is do they also have kid's sizes, because there is also a majority of kids who would like some Pokemon-themed apparel? Maybe if they lowered their prices they would be able to stay open longer... But that's too bad that they will only stay until the end of the month. That's when it's time to stock up on some of their shirts even if you have to grow into them, lol. They could become rare considering that they will not be distributing any more. :)
