I think it was somehow rumored to be June 2nd.

Well yeah, Pokemon and Nintendo are figuring it out. But as for the public, no, just "Fall 2012". But if they stick to that, bet on September or October. November is usually classed as Holiday.

But is Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations a sequel to Ultimate Ninja Storm 2? I always thought that fighting games with scenes that reenact scenes from the program it's based off of weren't exactly sequels, just add-ons to accommodate for the new content in the series.

Doom 3 is a retelling of Doom but is a completely different game, completely different visuals, gameplay, weapons, enemies, levels and story.

Version is only in the English names, as it is with every game.

I thought Junichi Masuda tweeted shortly after the announcement that the release date in Japan was June 2nd 2012?
 
Since HeartGold and SoulSilver, TPCi has been making the English logos like the Japanese logos so Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2 will probably be designed like the Japanese logos. With the fire and ice.

That would be "pretty" "cool". (<- See what I did there? :p)

This whole "Number Of Players: To Be Determined" thing is driving me nuts, since apparently Battles, Xtranceiver, Extralink, Global Link, and etc. didn't count...
 
I am very surprised at how quickly the games are being localized this time around! Although considering most of the translation was pretty much done from Black and White it couldn't take them too long to translate and put everything together in the new games.
 
Wow that was fast, It feels like Pokemon black and white just came out. But the fact that it is Pokemon black 2 and white 2 is really bothering me. You would think that they would have come up with something new already. My last thing is that does anyone else think that the Pokemon games should be made for something other than the DS? I mean the DSi and 3DS is getting old.
 
If it was like in less than 3 months itd be too fast.

Almost 2 years is not. Especially for a game without actually new pokemon
 
What other platforms could they use? The Wwii ones usually are horrible, and you're not gonna see

broken record here but the localizing isnt any faster the games will be out in japan in june and well probly get them in november now japan normally gets them in september and we get them in march theres 6/7 months in between both normal releases and these the only reason were getting them early is because japan is getting them early

That's true but they should stop with the DS systems and work on a new system =P
 
They're not going to stop with the 3DS...it hasn't been out for even 2 years yet.

Why would that be a reason to not see a Pokémon game for the Wii?

You're right, but if they do make one for the Wii, then i really hope it's better than Battle Revolution.
On topic, i think that this is going to be a lot like Platinum, in the way that you can catch more legendaries because unless i'm mistaken, then you could only catch Heatran in Platinum. So, it will be like an extended storyline of Black and White, you will almost certainly reunite with a changed N to stop an evil team about 2 years later, the team will be lead by Ghetsis(?) who has broken out of jail. There will be a Black Orb andWhite Orb that you use to change Kyurem's form from BKyurem to WKyurem but you will catch it in the corresponding form to the game. You'll probably be able to also catch Keldeo and Meloetta. But Genesect will have to wait for Movie 16(It will definatley have its own movie). I' m really hyped for this!!!
