(1) Pokemon 'Black' and 'White' Game Coverage - White Version PokéDex Entries [9/19]

RE: (1) Pokemon 'Black' and 'White' - White Version PokéDex Entries [9/19]

Lol Emboar's Dex entry makes it sound like a wrestler XD.. Oh wait..it is
Oh and I never knew Monose couldnt see, I always thought it was just its hair, and the description makes Sazando sound vicious

Darumakka 554: Since Darumakka’s droppings are hot, ancient people put them in their pockets to warm their bodies.
HAHAHAHA!!, Wow this is disturbing.. XD

It just means the food is cooked after it is eaten, not the other way round as per normal :p

"It makes the dreams it ate materialize. The smoke that leaks out of its forehead changes the form of the things materialized from dreams. "~Musharna's Dex Entry.

Does this mean that it eats dreams, then they turn into what they really are? Like, if he ate a dream about a duck, it would turn into a real psyduck?

aww man.. they dont show zekroms special legend abilities in his white pokedex entry.... probably only in black

Gobit 622: It's thought that this Pokemon was born of the science of a mythical ancient civilization.

mythical ancient civilization ~ Could this be Atlantis?

HM Dive ~ Does that mean you have to go under water? But you will still need to breath. Don't most pictures(tv shows, movies, ect.) show Atlantis having a sort of 'Air Bubble'?

Isn't there a movie called "Journey To Atlantis"(I am hopeing that is the animation movie). Where there is alot of 'Metal-ish Blue' buildings(ect.) I am guessing here.

Isn't this strange?

@Bugaham: Mushurna's Pokedex entry is pretty interesting. I was actually wondering what the smoke was, but now it seems like it can materialize any dream it wants. I wonder how this will be shown in the anime, it'll be kinds interesting to see this happen, since it is a dream eater.

Isn't Atlantis under water? So it can hide. But of course this was just a thought.

On another page. Could they be protect some ancient secret. Urgamoth maybe?

I would love to see the picture, Bugaham.

Please stay on topic, guys. If you want to discuss the copyright letter, please do so in the game coverage thread (which its pertinent). This is for discussing the Pokédex entries. Thanks!

I think I actually like some of the Pokémon better now that we have 'dex entries for them; while I still disagree in essentially giving the flying trio recolors (with minor differences), I like them more now that we have an idea of what they're about.

Darumakka 554: Since Darumakka’s droppings are hot, ancient people put them in their pockets to warm their bodies.

o_o.

There are numerous curious entries... aparently the gear stage 1's big gear is actually and stage 2's red gear are living parts unlike some theories around the internet were saying. Maybe we just can't see the face (it might be in the other side for the big one and beneath for the red one). Also the blue steel type from the fighting quadrupedal trio is said to have a "body of steel", but it seems to have blue fur. It might be the same weird natural metal fiber Lucario has, or metal bones.
I found the entries in general very interesting although we know Pokedex is not very reliable in some data (Ampharos can be seen from space? Alakazam has an IQ of 5000? Kingdra can make titanic whirlpools? Tiranitar can destroy whole mountains? Arceus is actually God?)

Kumashun......The Mucus is the source of the attack.
So there could be a 'mucus' attack?

(PS:I will add some stuff to this post later)

The Lamp line of pokemon seem to love to suck people's souls out.

I might know where to find Rigray. Area 51:p, or the Military air base.

Hihidaruma 555: When it’s weakened in battle, it becomes motionless like a rock. It’s honed its mind and battles with force of will.
Looking at that, I would have to say that when it is 'weakened' it changes to its 'blue psychic' form.

Hitomoshi 607: While appearing to shed light and serve as a guidepost, it sucks out creatures’ lifeforce.
Lamplar 608: It appears before those on their deathbeds, severs the soul from the body, and immediately sucks it up.
Chandelar 609: If something is wrapped in Chandela’s flame, its souls is sucked out and immolated. Only the cast off body remains

I find these three terrifying.

...

I love them even more. >:)

Rigray 605: It suddenly happened, 50 years ago, across the desert. No one has seen this Pokemon since then.

I don't get this...what happened? Or can people not remember because it erased their memories? :p

Or is this just a bad translation and it means to say it "suddenly appeared 50 years ago"? This description makes the pokemon sound really mysterious....and I love how it's evolved form is supposed to erase memories.

Some of the Pokedex entries are just weird/creepy, which to me are really cool, you want to really know what makes them creepy.

I am also curious about what happened 50 years ago across the desert and why nobody else has seen this Pokemon since then.

Area 51 anyone? ;P

I think some are really not that nice, like the garbage Pokémons entry or the ice creamcone.
Would like to know when and how the Pokémon evolve if possible...
