(1) 'Pokemon Conquest' aka 'Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition' Coming June 18th [4/4]

I find it a bit funny that they completely removed Nobunaga's Ambition from the title.. Also I'm hoping that we also get that Shiny Rauquaza card *drools*
 
Oh. Oh wow. I didn't think that this game would be coming over to the US so fast - or if it was even going to get here period.

I'm extremely excited for this game - I enjoy it's genre, and when you marry it with Pokemon, I can only see it as being incredibly fun~
 
When I first read the announcement on Official Nintendo Magazine, I jumped for joy and literally shouted "F--- YEAH!" as loud as I could.

Needless to say, I think I might buy this.
 
I can't wait!!! :D I wonder how well the translations will handle because the game is so Japanese history-focused. (unless I just have a bad understanding of what the game is about)

That might have something to do with copyright issues on why they couldn't put Nobunaga's Ambition in the title. However, as you will notice in the announcement, they do at least give a nod to that game, showing at least they acknowledge the game's origins.

I remember hearing several months back that they were planning to localize this game outside of Japan, thus I was hopeful. And yes, we're going to get it only in summer now? Yes please! This'll be a good interim while we're waiting for BW2 :p
 
Awesome! I was afraid they wouldn't localize it, and i don't like playing a game without reading the text. I'll be sure to buy it when it comes out.
 
To be honest, I had a feeling that this would pass, since Pokémon Mystery Dungeon was also localized, despite the Mystery Dungeon games being far more prevalent in Nippon.
 
My prayers have been answered! Seriously!! I've gone neurotic over this game ever since I heard about and saw all of the action-packed artwork. DUDE SERIOUSLY. Look how the Pokemon move! They look like they have so much more character than ever.:)

I think it's because those games are just not popular over hear, so I guess they were thinking people would be confused when they see Nobunaga's Ambition in the title.

I'm really glad they are localizing it and that it's coming out so soon, but I sort of wished they would of picked a better name since Pokemon Conquest seems kind of bland.

This one seems like it's gonna be pretty cool! I'd better save up my money.
I hope it's kinda Japanese culture rich, Pokemon has totally been missing that element...
I'm excited. It looks like a great story, and I love story driven games. The character designs just look cool..
I haven't been this excited for a Pokemon game in a long time.
And what's better, It'll be released in summer, which means no school to hold me back!

This doesn't look like much of a little kids' game, mostly because little kids won't be able to pronounce half the names. XP That's the way I like it!
 
Yay, definitely getting this :), and the best thing is that it's in time for my birthday, hoping that the UK version comes soon/same time as the US version.

Me too!

They probably removed it because Nobunaga's Ambition isn't very well-known in North America (especially with kids) and only had a few games here, but they don't seem to be ignoring the crossover.
 
Like most of you, I'm pretty glad the game is being localized! I'll definitely consider picking it up once it's out.
 
Yay! Super excited about this. I'd heard that it would likely get brought over, but there's always that nagging bit of doubt until the official announcement. I'll definitely be picking this up. I love turn-based strategy games and pokémon, so this will be awesome.
