Well, Dragon Selection didn't offer anything "game changing" except for Rayquaza but that's up for debate. The cards were a unique mini set and that's essentially what Shiny Collection will be. I think most people would agree with me that Dragon Selection has more or less disappeared from popular websites; there weren't even any secret rares in that set. So, by that precedent, I think it's safe to assume that Shiny Collection will go even faster. The cards may not be great, but from a collector's standpoint, it's a good idea to get it now while the cards are easy to find and at a fair price.

Elesa isn't good in Garbodor. You should only ever have 1 Garbodor with a tool on it at a time so you don't get hit twice from one tool scrapper. Skyla is infinitely better since it searches trainers universally. This, is the only thing that I could see Elesa being very useful in.
 
This set pretty obviously isn't for players, the same as Dragon Selection. It still seems to be pretty popular though, given the difficulties AmiAmi had in keeping up with orders, something I've never seen for any other BW set. Not much useful, but the cards are unique and fun, and there's a good amount of full arts available.

I have no basis with which to speculate the pull rates, but I'm hoping there will be at least 1 FA per box instead of the 1 FA per 2 boxes that has been common for Japan since they started.

Japanese kid opening 2 packs :) Won't say much about the pull rates, but he does pull a Uncommon and FA in the first pack, and 2 uncommons in the second pack. I guess someone will probably opening a box really soon hopefully :D

So, base pull rate per pack is likely 2C/2U or 2C/1U/1(S)R. For a typical Japanese box, it's approximately a 50/50 shot between a 3C/2U pack or a pack with a R, but with only 1 R and 5 SRs, such a rate would be way too generous.

The set official comes out today, I think, so hopefully we'll get some more info from Japan soon. Based on the prices I'm seeing on Ebay ($120 for a full set, $20-$30 for a single FA), it looks like the FAs aren't terribly rare, so it's probably be at least one per box.

Yeah, either the guy really lucked out or the SRs are more R than S. Definitely seems like FAs are more common than a typical set at least.

This card art is amazing! I want to get a box now! :3 I really like Growlithe's card the most, but their all so cute :3

Yeah, there's been some discussion about this in a thread in TCG Discussion. AnUnown and viper.fox both opened boxes that showed a pretty consistent 3 SR and 3 R (in this case meaning 3 Meloetta EX) per box, so there's a good chance of completing the entire set in 2 boxes. Also plenty of extra Meloetta EXs for those who just want to buy/trade for the card for the pretty art.
