(1) Shiny Hydreigon and Golurk Downloads for 14th Movies [6/5]

This is a n00bish question, but when does this event even begin? i heard like in 2 days
 
WPM, I hate to burst your bubble, but the shiny artwork of Hydreigon and Golurk featured on the flier isn't Sugimori art - it's simply stock pose artwork using Sugimori's outline. The way the artwork is shaded proves this - it's shaded like the way they shade in the films and anime.

For example, compare Sugimori's Golurk with the promotion's Golurk. Notice the shading on the shoulder to the right - it doesn't match how Sugimori shaded it. Another good place to see the difference is on the stomach - one is shaded higher up, while the other is lower.

When I first saw these I thought they were recolors, too, but I quickly noticed that wasn't the case.

He probably does, and we just never get to see it. He's got loads of artwork that never gets released, and there are some pieces that are released only in one place, thus making them hard to find.
 
I would argue with Xous that they are in fact Sugimori art...but he obviously knows more about art than I do :<

I can't wait for this! I have the Japanese version of Pokemon Black! So when it goes over wifi I can get a shiny Hydreigon!

No, you don't. I got the event Cubchoo with my Japanese version, along with the secret egg, and I live in the United States!
 
I was referring to the McDonalds half. You just reminded me that they will be distributed over Wi-Fi too.
 
Does anybody think or know if these events will come out in the united states

Can somebody that has a Japanese game or lives in japan clone this or just give me one plz cuz I really want it

I think this will come stateside, everyone was suprised when the shiny beasts did and this seems like a lesser event compared to that. And yeah, in the movie they will deffinately not be shiny...too bad :p

I have a question why would they give out the pokemon in their shiny form when the original pokemon in the movie are not shiny, I even saw a picture of the movie and those pokemon were on the picture but they weren't shiny

Because the movie pokemon they have for events have to be special. They usually know a special move, or a special ability. These two are special because their shiny, meaning no cool moves or ability will come in the package ... sigh

I disagree with your last statement, the beasts of last year got this and there were 3 of them...

There's no reason to think that this won't come to America. Just not in the same form. Gamestop. Pure and simple. Which is cool. We love Gamestop.

That actually is very true because the crown dogs most people thought were not going to come to America and they did but i still have my doubts that they will come to America
