Agreed. I'm curious...

The names, though, are more than a little cheesy. Super Snivy...Terrific Tepig...Outstanding Oshawott? :/ Kinda lame.
 
These boxes remind me of the old Wizards Jumbo legendary Birds that were given away on the WB during the base set promotions. There was also a Pikachu card which my friends brother had. He had the base Pikachu jumbo card in the pocket of his Pokemon card binder. These cards remind me of those because these are just the 5th gen starters this time around. I wish they had done a Charizard card in the same way as they did Articuno Zapdos and Moltres and Pikachu.. I would have liked to have seen that.:)

Not really.... All three of them have a CoL pack behind the EP packs. They just aren't as noticeable as the one in the Snivy box. You can see the "Call of Legends" text in the Tepig picture, and you can see the Groudon in the Oshawott picture.
 
Only a keen eye like yours could spot Groudon, I must confess.
I had a feeling I saw Deoxys, then reassured myself that they wouldn't put CoL in there normally unless it's a sign of a CoL-on format. Anyway, looks like my fears are true and they do each come with CoL. O_O
Too many pointless holos and not enough Pachis and shinies...
 
I'm mad now... I only bougt the snivy and tepig tins because i wanted the figures :\ Ugh... and I just bought the snivy tin two weeks ago... then these showed up!

The ______________'s jumpo cards reminded me of __________'s Pikachu where you were supose to write you name and then it even had a spot for your birthday on it. Pikachu was having a party in the picture, too! :D I hope that they do a gym/trainer crads again!!! That'd be awesome, since I didn't like the glatic's blah cards. I don't want to be the bad guy :(
 
I'm not a big fan of Jumbo card, usually, but these ones look cool.
Might end up buying one instead of picking up standard boosters.

They're marketed towards children, what did you expect?

Seems kind of pricy for what you are getting.

heh!!! here in our local Toys R Us in California they're asking for $24.99?!!!!

i told one of their store employees id rather get mine in Target or in my local hobby shop since their Pokemon cards are way overpriced.
