(1) Some New B2W2 Footage, Including Misty in the World Tournament [6/16]

Makes ya wonder if they all have that, or something changed in Kanto, and someone has replaced Misty as Gym Leader :0
Oh my goodness that remixed Gym leader music is just music to my ears.
The title change was to be expected honestly. Cynthia went from being "Champion" in DPP to being "Pokemon Trainer" in BW. Now it's Misty's, and presumably all of the other gym leader's, turn.

I cannot remember how her sprite looked in HGSS but she seems to look the same. I guess none of the old Gym leaders have aged. ;(

Yeah it's the same, her animation is slightly improved is all. A bit disappointed as the respriting wouldn't have taken the dev team all that long? But glad the feature's in the game regardless, so never mind.
I'd like it even more if it wasn't a Battle Tower-like facility. Heck, having 6 on 6 battles against high leveled classic characters would be awesome. And the all the EXP points we'd earn...
I mean, it won't be that hard to beat someone with 3 Pokémon that share the same weakness (wich the great majority of them).

It's sad how no remix of the RBY Leader theme has ever come close to being as good as the original...with the only exception, ironically enough, being the GSC one.
The BW2 sounds like it has an extra clef of notes that shouldn't be there. It was dissonant and hurt my ears.
...Ironically enough, this is the first video I've watched of BW2 footage. I thought I might have liked some of it. Now after watching it, I feel like I went from "looking forward to this game" to "detesting it rather thoroughly".
Good thing I didn't pre-order! I'll think about getting it when I finish Conquest.

It's a few more than two years, since black and white take place at least 2 or 3 years after heart gold, and black 2/white 2 are two years after that. There should be at least some small change, especially since its about 5 years later. But hey, it's a great feature, and like I said before its most likely non canon and more of a bonus feature.

In Iccurus city during winter you can go to one of the hidden houses that has a former rocket member in it. He's the one you beat on the bridge in cerulean(or at least it's speculated bevause he talks eerily similar) and states that after he realized team rocket wasn't getting back together he married and had a child. The kid is at least 3-4 because you can talk to him, plus the added 2 years from black 2 and white 2 make it at the very least 4 or 5 years later. I mean, characters like Brock, misty and blue should be much older looking considering they were pretty young...and reused sprite work just shows laziness

I agree, the sprites should've changed and Game Freak is being lazy. Another odd thing to point out is that Giovanni will be appearing in the tournament/Iforgotthenameofthething. He had been missing for three years in HGSS, and all of a sudden he's being allowed to compete in a tournament despite being a mafia boss. This probably isn't going to be canon.

Exactly, which is why I'm not worried. Gamefreak has a thing for being incredibly lazy, and I honestly expected this, but I don't hold it against them because this is pretty much my favorite game series and I'll buy it either way lol. This is prob just some sort of battle tower mode for nostalgias sake, which is awesome either way.
