Err, the pokemon that died were actually Entei, Suicune and Raikou. They werent revived as different Pokemon or something.

They were still "created" again by Ho-Oh's actions. 
Even if people were confused by that option, it should have been obvious Registeel was the most correct answer, since nothing talks about how it was created.

I suppose I could pull the Arceus card here, but I guess the Pokedex description isn't definite enough for me to get away with that.
I voted for Mewtwo on the next poll, which is probably wrong for some weird and obscure reason. If I am indeed wrong then I know what WPM's trick is

You could say reading the manga definitely helps...

Lol wasn't that one referenced somewhere in the tv show too? I never read the manga but I knew that one wasn't it. I'm 95% sure I got it, though I could be mistaken (since I don't play the video games that much).
I didn't vote on the last one but I voted on this one because I read the manga(and other things) so I know I got this one.
When the Brass Tower (later called the Burned Tower) in Ectruteak City burned down 150 years before you play the Johto games, the three legendary beasts perished in the flames. Ho-Oh revived / re-created them later. They each embodied the events that took place: the lightning (that hit the tower and started it on fire), the fire (that burned it), and the rain (that put the fire out after three days) - Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.

Knew that! and weren't the pokemon inside the tower the fire, water, and thunder eeveelutions? and then Ho-oh revived them as greater beings, reincarnations of nature :/

More people need to read Pokemon Special.
Now I didn't look too much into this, nor did I really pay attention to the Johto series of Anime, the G/S/C Manga, or the G/S/C games, but here's what I was told about the creation of Raikou, Entei, and Suicune:
Long ago, when Ho-oh still lived in Brass Tower, there was a catastrophic storm. After the storm had finished, all that were left of the tower were ruins, now known as Burnt Tower or whatever. Anyway, they say Raikou, Entei, and Suicune were created by Ho-oh depicting what happened to the tower. The Lightning that struck it (Raikou), the Fire that burned it (Entei), and the rain that put it out (Suicune).
As I said above, I didn't really read into it that much, nor did I really pay attention to anything revolving around the Johto series (Games, Manga, and Anime), so don't bite my head off if I got some thing wrong.
Oh, and as for my vote for the last poll, I voted Heatran...Why? It was the most obvious and probably the same reason everyone else voted for it.

Based on the RSE dex entries, Kyogre and Groudon created the continents and oceans (not respectively). However, I think Dialga and Palkia shaped a particular continent to form the land of Sinnoh. They didn't just create Sinnoh from thin air. They took Groudon and Kyogre's creations to form Sinnoh, like grabbing a piece of clay and playing with it.
It's just my theory. It's not necessarily correct. Lol {D}
