(1) X/Y Pokemon Direct [9/4]

The Pokemon XY 3DS XL systems launch tomorrow! Who's planning to get it? Target has 8 of them(4 red, 4 blue), and Toys"R"Us has 4 boxes of them. 4 in each box. No word on any sales.

Really? =S I already saw them yesterday (Sep. 25) at the store I work! =S They were both 199€ or 199,99€

Picked up my Xerneas and Yveltal Blue Edition from Target at 8am this morning. It's pretty sweet. Surprisingly, I had no problems walking into the store as soon as they opened, going to electronics asking the guy if they had them, watched as he brought out three from the stockroom, and purchased my system. :)

Here's the brief press release stating that they're available now. http://press.nintendo.com/articles.jsp?id=40581

So I'm confused on the transporter. I'm reading things saying it's free, and then the next thing i read says it's not. So basically I'm not sure if I can afford the $5 a year for the bank. Not going into details. Anyway, I've read (don't remember where) a few places that the transporter uses the bank to move your pokemon, in which after the bank trial it won't be free to do so anymore. Also read on the pokemon site it says the bank is paid but the transporter is free. So I'm confused...is the transporter actually free or do I need to use the bank to utilize it and pay? I transfer older pokemon to newer games every so often, so it'd be nice to understand this.

That's correct, you download the Transporter app for free, but it's useless without Bank, so you'd have to end up paying for it (unless you use the free trial).
