I would think that he's getting a webmaster badge, since he was recently "promoted" to webmaster.

Contributors were part of the staff before. That has not changed. They still work with moderators.

just wanna give some constructive criticism:

those badges look hideous
You are just jealous. :>>

But I agree that when they are too many it looks pretty, well... how exactly should I put it?
The admin/smod/mod bagdes are unecessary as there is a huge bar stating that already, the others are more useful.

I got badges working on most pages now. Quick reply is the only thing I can't figure out. I'll have another go probably the day after Christmas. At least I gave it a try.

Now there are purple Starmie. I really like having a new and different color for Contributors/Staff. I just missed the blue I had yesterday.

Cluttered?

I agree with you. SR has a large handful of badges and although they look nice it's a little cluttered to have them all in one place like that, but that's probably the curse of having multiple badges.

'Staff' seems too general. 'Contributor' lets newbies know what they do.
And the term 'staff' doesn't? I don't follow your logic.

Contributors don't get anything D:
Why are there Horseas and Staryus for members?
Nevrmind all I see are Horseas

Me and WPM aren't getting badges, the admin bars mean we do everything anyways. Additionally, the admin, smod, and mod badges are being removed because of redundancy.

I am still managing stuff for the former contributors group. Hang tight and you'll see. :)

Admins administrate.Mods Moderate. Supermods Super moderate. Web Masters are the master of the website.Contributors Contribute[.Staff-? Hit people with Staffs?] I think that's what Lucky Fire is talking about.

If that's the logic, someone really needs a dictionary. The term "staff" is quite universal. The specific terms after that (contributor, moderator, etc.) just add to the job description.
The basic staff have fancy names and are qualified to help, plus they help out in their respective areas. A cashier at McDonalds does not have much power (I'm looking at you, PMJ), but that person is still an employee. Our basic staff are not much different; they are the oil that keeps the machine running.
