(2) BW2 English Trailers, Random Receiver a SR in 'Plasma Gale' [9/10]

That means there'll be five FAs and four SRs presumably...? Or the other way round,

Random Receiver is a bit of a lame one to reprint...
 
I don't really like the fact that they make shiny items, it was cool when it was only pokémon catcher.. but now it just seams lame xD

Why Dark Patch? It's only ran in decks with Dark energy, at least most decks run RR. Although I would have preferred no shiny items (I truely don't see a point.) Here's hoping for a Full Art Juniper...

Also It's curious that it's 79/70 in the set. 9 SR? If this was a split set that would be understandable, but I assumed that this would be like Dark Rush (4 EX's, 3 Shiny) but this means the are 9 Secret Rares.. Maybe 4 FA EX's, 2 FA Supporters and 3 Shiny? Can't wait to find out. REGIROCK FOR NEXT EX.

I wish. Random Receiver is pretty lackluster IMO.
 
I actually really like that art.
Also an ad ran in Nat Geo Kids Magazine (my sister gets it) about BW2. It didn't say much, but had the release date for Pokedex 3D pro and a tidbit stating that BW2 takes place 2 years after BW.
 
The BW sets are getting so out of control now with the pointless reprints. :/ Was anybody really clamoring for a gold-plated Random Receiver?

He brought Rocky Helmet up because that was the previous shiny item that was printed.
By the way...Random Receiver is not a "secret rare"; it is an "ultra rare". In the Japanese sets, the rarity goes like so:

R = Regular rare (this also applies to non-FA EX cards)
SR = Super rare (applies to the FA EX cards)
UR = Ultra rare (applies to the shiny extras)

also it says UR right there on the card trolololol

Why would anyone think RR would stand for something with the initials RH

The point was the precedent has been set for the UR Trainers being able to be unplayed cards.

So sick of these "Shiny" Trainer cards, it was a cool thing when it was only Catcher, but now it's just stupid :I
 
Despite all the hate floating around, I'm actually really diggin the shiny trainers. The RR is actually playable, and looks metallic and gold, so that's good. I will say the Rocky Helmet isn't GREAT, but the border is gold, gotta give it some credit for that. And, yeah. There's only two LOL.
 
I could care less about the shinnies personally If I get lucky and get one good for me but at least I don’t have to search them out to be competitive.
