(2) 'CoroCoro' and 'Pokemon Sunday' Reveal New Pokemon's Silhouette! [2/6]

I think that picture would be more convincing if the sprite for the farfetch'd evo was different from the sugi.

Remembers me of the speculations when the 2nd Generation was released. Everybody thought Heracross was an evolution of Pinsir. Even when Heracross was shown as Pokémon in various magazines.

No it wasn't. People just thought it would be, just like how people though Kricketot was the pre-evolution of Volbeat or Illumise, or how this new silhouette is an evolution of Lucario / Ninetales / Mightyena / etc.
 
Guys look a Xous's pic for a few minutes. If he removed the red and replaced it with the same grey as he has on the chest of the beast you can clearly see it is a dog evolution for sure and he has the claws of Mightyena. That is clearly shown. Imagine the red coloring gone and replaced with the grey and you will see what I mean. Xous cloud you ditch the red coloring on that pic and color the red areas grey? That is the only evolution that it fits and as I said it is most likely a Mightyena evolution. I can see it. I don't know why but I just somehow can see it being an evolution of Mightyena and also look at the face and compare the faces too and you will see for sure.:)

I have to agree with WPM. There's still a big change this is a total new Pokemon, not related to any previous Pokemon at all.

Btw, I still don't get where they got that Ninetales from ._. It's even impossible. Lucario has got enough attention in the 4th gen. GameFreak will definitely try to take it out of the spotlights. Mightyena is the only possibility left for me. Although a hyena evolving into a werewolf is an utterly weird concept. And still the idea of Mightyena being placed right after the starters. Even though I know Zigzagoon is their common region mammal, Poochyena was always like a second one for me. Also note that Team Rocket uses their region mammal, Rattata, in their teams and so do team Magma and Aqua use Poochyena in their team.

Also the ''brush'' at the end of the ''ponytail'' could also be a tail connecting to where it has to be (see the pic below). Everybody can be interpretating the silhouette wrong. It's kinda weid to see how hundreds of people just simply can agree without even thinking of other possibilities.

Wow, those two look really real to me... Both of them will probably get an evo. I'm satisfied with these two(fakes):D

if is referring to pokemon Z, master of illusion, I'm guessing it is probably partially psychic type
If not, I think it looks more like a mightyena than lucario evo to me,
lucario has no claws and does not look quite as furry as silhouette
also an evo for the very weak mightyena would be more useful, a second stage for lucario could be very overpowered :)
 
I like how no one's guessing anymore, we're just set to different theories and waiting now.

Xous should really have added some kind of watermark or something on that image lol. I'm seeing it everywhere with people not knowing where it comes from- though I try alert them as to whom the artist is when I am able to. Lots are thinking it's the official drawing of the new pokemon hah. Excellent drawing though.

It does have a watermark; it's in the space in the middle between the back and the ponytail

xD I was thinking of putting a large semi-transparent watermark over it instead of just the smaller one in the space between its back and ponytail, but I decided against it because the official design will be out soon enough anyways.

Thanks for setting people straight about it, though. That saves me a lot of trouble and helps a lot. :D
