(2) 'Dark Explorers' Images, Clearer Box Art of 'Black 2' and 'White 2' [3/15]

We might have a couple, but even less than what Noble Victories had of Psycho Drive/Hail Blizzard. Dark Rush, Kyogre/Groudon-EX, Tornadus/Thundurus Gift Set and the Reshiram/Zekrom-EX deck cards will probably be over 100 cards of this set, IMO.

I honestly think we'll get a decent amount from it, so they can get the dragons into one set before the next games and the inevitable tie in set at the end of the year.

There's nothing really stopping them from doing Dragon Selection (20, 18 minus the two trainer reprints), Dragon Blade (55) and Dragon Blast (55) all as one big August set, though. The trend for the last couple of years has been 90-125 cards per set, but the three Dragon sets together would only be 128. And ~150 card sets happened in August 2008/2009.

After reviewing everything Japan has right now, I think it's pretty likely that they're going to throw everything that isn't Dragon-related into Dark Explorers precisely so August can be everything from the three Dragon sets. So that means 74 Dark Rush cards, 4 Kyogre/Groudon-EX cards, 16 Reshiram/Zekrom-EX deck cards, 12 Tornadus/Thundurus Gift Set cards, and a few BW-P promos like Bulbasaur, Empoleon, Excadrill and Bianca... these alone could be the entirety of Dark Explorers.

That sounds like it works to me.

I wouldn't actually mind losing the holo DS cards from a collecting perspective if it meant having a nice huge fat lump of pages in a folder entirely for just the new type.

Our English August set will probably be the Dragon Selection, Dragon Blade and Dragon Blast sets. Then last set of the year will be Japan's July set which have Kyurem, Keldeo, and Meloetta, which I think it will be released in October instead of November so the set can be closer to the release of Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 in the US. Like what they did for Pokemon Black and Pokemon White.

We'll still need to get the Keldeo Battle Pack and the new Beginning Collection (both yet to be released in Japan).

It'd be a bit odd if we get a set with 35+ dragons in it...

Which would very well be in our Fall English Set.

I figured the red is from Reshiram having red fire and the blue is from Zekrom having blue electricity. Nothing less, nothing more.

the Zoroark theme deck will sell out like hot cakes. kind of like the Noble Victories theme deck that had 3 durant and a 3-2 Eelectric line. they might have to include a catcher or two to sell the other theme deck ;)
