(2) M18 Features Hoopa, New Ancient Trait Cards [12/10]

So the next movie will likely feature Hoopa or Volcanion...or perhaps both.

In other news, Primal Clash (Tidal Storm/Gaia Volcano) will have a regular fairy Azumarill and an ancient trait fairy Azumarill. Kind of bizarre. The full impact of ancient traits still has yet to be determined but this is our first fairy with such a thing. Wonder what this one will be...
 
Ludicolo and Azumarill are nice choices, but I don't know if they'll be any good. It really just depends on what trait they got. The text is different than Alpha Growth, so it might be the same Trait that Tentacool has.
 
I was thinking Ludicolo might be grass atleast. Also you see Azumarill here, which is primarily or atleast used to be water type. Here we have Azumaril as fairy type, but being water based it has the alpha trait.

I think I might be wrong about there being a ancient trait Lanturn card. I it does turn out to have ancient trait, then it will be electric with alpha trait.

Yeah but that doesn't mean anything. Rayquaza was already in a movie as well, even though it was based around Deoxys. We also have no proof of how much of a role Rayquaza will have in this one either so it may not be anymore than Destiny Deoxys.

we'll probably have something along the lines of Hoopa and the Primal Reversions or something

Rayquaza got a mega evolution so that's hardly a good comparison.

Rayquaza and Shiny Rayquaza are two different Pokemon. It's good to see the counterpart finally getting some anime recognition. :D

And I can't wait to hear what Hoopa's voice is like. I've always imagined it using telepathy, with sort of a high-pitched Irish accent. I dunno, I'm strange. :p

I hope he will have telepathy. Diancie got telepathy, Keldeo got telepathy, Shaymin did, Arceus did, even Zorua, who isn't Legendary or Mythical. So I hope they'll do him justice and let him talk to humans. :D
 
It's a Pokemon MOVIE, of course Hoopa, or even some of the other legends in this movie, will talk.
The only movies we had without talking Pokemon in them (not counting Meowth) were 4Ever, Lati@s movie, Destiny Deoxys, Manaphy movie, and that's it.
