(2) Movie 11 Opinion and Experience, Movie 11 Guide [7/19]

Scarfcario, you make the entire expierience sound horrible XD i am a big anime and merchandise fan, but don't know jack about the TCG. its interesting how different interests can lead to two totally different expieriences.

i stand by my own opinion that the movie did not "suck" and that the merchandise was not "crud" XD the pokemon movie expierience is one of my favourite things to do every summer! i'm sorry if you had a bad time.. :(
 
My opinion is exactly what it is, an opinion. Just because I didn't like the movie, doesn't mean you will have the exact same experience as me.

To me it felt like the dev team didn't put as much time as they into the movie as the last one. The animation budget felt like it ran out in 3 minutes as opposed to 30 with the last movie. The enemy was as forgettable, and it really felt rushed, despite being 2 hours long. Regigigas needed a bigger part and as that one guy said, Palkia should have at least made some kind of appearance, and Shaymin was flat-out annoying.

On the up side, the background still remain some of the most beautiful backgrounds in any anime that I have ever seen. The music score also carries it predecessors quality with the 11th movie.

Other than that it was rather forgettable.

AWESOME! i would love to learn how to make my own plush. when i took sewing in school, i liked making clothes, but i really enjoyed making a dog plush. it came from a bought pattern. i know you can't go into it here, and it would be to much to explain, but do you have any general suggestions for how i could start making my own plush? i know it is hard and practice makes perfect. also, any websites? any suggestions would be great. thank you! :)
 
The 10th movie was good but I think this one will be better. I don't think it will be bad at all. I am predicting that this will be a very good movie. The worst was Pokemon 2000 because the storyline was bad but the movie itself was good.:)
 
One minor question that my friend (who doesn't have a Pokébeach account) wanted to know: does Shaymin's voice change when it becomes its Sky Forme?
 
shaymin land forme sounds like a prissy girly girl, and shaymin sky forme sounds like a tomboy. their language is also different, land forme has a smartass way of speaking (using deshu often), and skyforme has a more bad-ass yet polite way of speaking (using desu often). :)

Thanks! One more question: I know that they sold small, clear figures of Shaymin, Giratina and Regigigas at the theater. Do you know how much these figures costed (in yen)?

The figures you are describing are the special clear version of Tomy Monster Collection (TomyMC for short). They are advertised as 300 yen each in the theater.
