(2) Movie 12 Plot Info, 'The Advent of Arceus' [4/14]

I wonder if, like WPM said, the thunder demon really is a demon? It would be one of those shocking twists that people love, since who expects an actual demon in the Pokemon world? I can already see how the English translation will change it to a thunder "spirit," since demons obviously have some bad interpretation that can't be allowed. Or, maybe the notch-ear is a sign of great evil in Pichu-kind, and the Notch-ear Pichu really is behind it all! I am starting to doubt Zapdos's role in all of this. What can it do? I doubt that a 1st generation Pokemon will just get upgraded to demonkind right now. This movie had better be long, or else everything will be crammed in too tightly. I'm excited, though. Right now, it looks like it will be good.
 
I knew this day was coming since the Diamond & Pearl games first came out and it came true! An Arceus Level X is going to be printed!

Too bad none of us will be able to use Japanese cards mostly or I would have bought them already.

I bet Xous would party for this because Arceus is finally here.

My, goodness. This plot... Is amazing. Well, Arceus does talk, but hopefully it'll get a good voice...

Here is my favorite part of the plot:
-As for the meeting of Dialga and Palkia, who were "never supposed to meet," the energy swirling around the awakening Arceus created spatial distortions. This caused Dialga and Palkia's two dimensions to touch, and each thought the other was invading its territory (the 10th movie). Thus, Arceus was responsible for Dialga and Palkia's battle in the 10th movie. Absolutely brilliant! Not only does this make Arceus' power seem immense, it's also a fantastic way to make Movie 10's feud realistic.

And the new TCG Set... I'm going to explode. IT LOOKS SO AWESOMMMEEEE! D:
 
Read the stuff. Looks like it'll be intense, and not sucky. Here's hoping for a guilty verdict \o/
 
set will be awesome, but wow. So arceus is the cause of all this time-space madness going on in the past 2 movies! (Although Zero was the real problem in movie 11, not Giratina feuding with Dialga)

"If you look at the first theme deck image below, you can see the Meadow Plate attached to Grass-type Arceus. It looks like the Plates are hexagonal and just stick to its golden mandala like a magnet."

Are you talking about the second image (the one with the green/red background)? Because that's Arceus in its Normal Form, and I think the green shape sticking to its mandala is a coin... >_> However, the Fire-Type Arceus card (on the same image) seems to have a rectangular-shaped plate.
 
Im honestly not sure about most of this... But, im sure everyone knows what the ultamate zone is, but I dont know this stuff. But anyway, what if Ultamite Zone is a stadium card that makes all energy rainbow? Acues decks seem like they would lots of different energy, so maybe thats why WPM said they were giving them away because they help arceus decks get the different energy.:rolleyes:just a thought.{M} {P} {W}

It looks fantastic.

As for the Movie...
I am speechless. I MUST see it. It will definitely be the best one thus far.

xD Glad it's not just me noticing... Also, glad they didn't make the plates hexagonal. =D
 
I can't wait for this to come to the US! I think the guy who played Lugia in Pokemon 2000 should play Arceus. Who agrees?

See, that's what I'm totally against - Lugia's voice again.

[Opinion] First of all, it was too generic - it sounded like some bad movie announcer, or something. Second of all, using the same voice actor would be a terrible move - people would immediately recognize it and think of the other film, instead of being drawn into the one they're watching. I'm hoping for something between Darkrai's and Lugia's voice, but leaning more towards Darkrai's - a bit mythical, a little deep, and rage-filled.[/Opinion]

And to WPM: Its face isn't green, its eyes are. Plus, if it were Grass Form, its eyes would be yellow, and its mandala would be green too. (I'm speaking about the Arceus that the green coin is "magnetized" to - not the Lv.X card.)
 
Wow, some really cool stuff here. Tons of Arceus/Arceus Lv.X. Wouldn't that be something if it was 75% Arceus, 25% Toxicroak, Luxray, and Buneary. ._. The Ultimate Zone sounds amazing, although I have to admit, it sounded like a Magnezone card. That'd be hilarious.

As for the movie plot, the translations seem a little silly, like they're laughing at the plot. SUPER ENERGETIC got me depressed for this movie. :F Also, more Ash crying, more random spatial rifts, and Arceus talking. Oh, don't forget about the thunder demon, otherwise known as the Notched-Ear Pichu with all it's notched-ear special powers. >___>
