(2) Plasma Power Deck, Meloetta Promos [7/5]

I love when they add new mechanics! More than likely it'll just be tool cards that say "If this is attached to a Team Plasma Pokemon...." But still cool. Praying we get a Ghetsis supporter.

Or "Corless"

and it will say:

search for a supporter, a basic energy and a card with the new "plasma mechanic"...

...I'm going to go to bed now...
Sleep is good.

More to the point, I was hoping that the Plasma's Pokemon wouldn't be all basic like the SPs were; I wanted them to be like Owner's Pokemon. I guess they are now, but what I find interesting is that the name is no different. 4 total Klinklang in a deck still? Who knows?

Well, we'll find out, anyway.

Soooooooo happy that they're not SP incarnations!!!!! But they'll probably give them some sort of ultra-broken engine.

Both of the Meloetta suck. They still have amazing art, though.

At least we're not getting SP Pokemon back. ^__^

You and me BOTH!

Looks to be like a combination of the Gym Leader Pokemon and Dark Pokemon... I don't mind those... Rather liked Dark Pokemon back in the day.

I wonder is N/Ghetsis/Corless will get their own sets of cards, or will they share a card pool with the plasma grunts?

the post game segments of BW2 reveal that N has a really diverse set of pokemon at his disposal. The thing I want most out of this set is a Ghetsis' {DRG} type Hydreigon, or any {DRG} type cards in general. We're yet to see Zekrom and rerishram be reprinted with the new types, despite kyurem having one for a while now.

as for meloetta... I hope she has an EX print in BW6 (one week to go).

Perhaps the Plasma mechanic is like the EX mechanic?

Also, lookin' good Meloetta.

I really like the framing they used for the card. I don't know if it just meshes well with Klinklang's art or not. Looks awesome.

See, what did I tell you? SPs weren't coming back. You guys had nothing to worry about.

...wait a minute.
I can't get the first Meloetta cards unless I go to Japan? Jeez, you're making everything harder for me here...

They would have to, or else no one would buy/use them over EXs.

Seriously... what is that.

I miss SP lol. It wasn't that bad.

Honestly so do I. Even though it wasn't great on the diversity aspect, the matches were very skillbased and luck was less important. There were still a ton of decks that were viable too, and even more different versions of those decks, and a huge list of techs that could be put in decks that would hugely alter how they're played.

Gyarados SF
Kingdra LA/UL
Machamp SF
Flygon - Flygon/Machamp, Flygon/Palkia Lv. X Lock, Flygon/Donphan
Blazeray
LuxChomp
Sablelock
Garchomp C Toolbox
Luxray GL Toolbox
DialgaChomp
Gengar SF/Garchomp C
Jumpluff

These weren't all in the same format, but they were all out at the same time as SP. Even though a good number of the decks above are SP, there was a good amount of diversity. There was also a huge number of possible rogue decks, like Mightyenna/Skuntank G and things like that, which saw decent amounts of success.

The DP-On format was my favorite (and first) format to play in, and still is. Maybe that's because I haven't played for that long, but it's definitely not as bad as many people claim it was. It was certainly better than our current format. SP was a scapegoat that people blamed all their problems on, especially the fact that it was "expensive", even though you could play anything other than LuxChomp for fairly cheap.

Anyway, I'd be happy to see an incarnation of SP return, but I don't know how they'd balance it without making the good cards LV.X's. (Although I'd love to see LV.X's come back, too.)

This is kinda like gym heros, maybe they will make a plasma grunt's pokemon Ex. I doubt it though.

I knew there were no SP coming back just owner pokemon. And fot r the Corless supporter:
Look for a basic colorless pokemon, a basic energy card and an item card.
