(2) Pokemon Demo Day, Shiny Beasts Downloads for 13th Movie Ticket Preorders [3/11]

Wow sounds like a fun event. I might be able to go, depending on how tired I am from States tomorrow.
 
You can get the figures all over the place from what I've seen. I'm in Canada, but EB Games/Gamestop has them, Future Shop and Best Buy have them, and I thiiiiink Toys and Zellers got them. Maybe. And Walmart was advertising them 2 months back.

I'm all for the Shiny Beasts! But I hope I get them here...my local EB Games and Toys R Us look at me like I have 3 heads whenever I ask them about Pokemon-related events and free swag. Perhaps I can stop at a Toys on Sunday when I travel to the States! (And miss the release date...I can't get my HG and SS copies until next week baaaaaaaaw)
 
For once I'm happy I procrastinated my preorder. I'll do it at Toys'R'Us today. Hope they still have figurines though. But I'll get sweet stuff tomorrow anyway. I'm also happy for being such a tiny little 14 year old. The shirt wll fit me fine.
 
I also preordered at Gamestop...:( Maybe I'll end up going to TRU instead. Does anyone know for sure which of these special giveaways are restricted to the first 50 purchases? It sounds like the t-shirts will be in limited supply for sure, but what about the "Basics kit"? I'm not sure how early I could get to the store tomorrow, so I'm trying to weigh my options. But I sure would love a shirt...would probably fit into a youth large or XL too. :p
 
Okay, so the shirt has Ho-Oh in the front, Lugia in the back, the HeartGold logo on the right sleeve, and SoulSilver on the left. It's black.

I had to wait like 20 minutes just for the person in front of me! How garish...

Has anyone been having trouble getting the figures from TRU? I was told by employees when picking up my game that the promotion was 'canceled' in favor of the t-shirt, kit and gift card. I pushed the issue, but I was still told no across the board. Anything similar happening to anyone else?

At Target, I got my figures with the pre-order.

Anyway, my friend wasn't able to get her figures at Toys R Us. She was told that they couldn't find them and that they'd call her back if/when they get them.

Did you buy the guide with your game? I'm trying to figure out if anyone got this supposed 20% discount...
 
I got everything. The shirt, the kit (free lol, but later they told me they messed up and their supposed to charge. lol), the figure, and whatever else you get, but I didn't get the guide. Had no problems getting it or anything.

If I for some reason ever needed something, I could just google it for free.

Only sad thing is, the biggest size shirt they had was kid's large when I'm an adult small/medium like. =/. Just barely goes past my waist.
 
Gotta say, I'm really upset that WPM didn't put a spoiler tab for the Celebi-Giovanni thing. I was absolutely furious when I read that, considering I tried not to spoil anything about HG SS. Serebii, on the other hand, always puts spoiler tabs when relating important game details such as that...
 
Rejected my target preorder for demo day. Missed it because of Daylight Savings lol. Least TRU had the shirt and stylus and everything else there, so I still got it at TRU.
 
I'm sticking to my preorder on Amazon. Figurines won't get lost, unlike the cases and the styluses. And I can't wear that shirt anyway, I'm almost 6 ft tall, so yah, I wouldn't get much enjoyment out of that. Plus, if I cancel now, I'll probably have to wait a lot longer, and mine is already due to come on Friday =P
 
I missed the demo day because of oversleeping and Didn't get the game today because gamestop messed up and I owed 5 bucks to the game and my dad didn't have the money.
So.... won't get the game for a few days,but its fine.
 
i have to wait a week...just dont rub it in my face (look at angry emoticon)

Demo day was way worth it, got tons of stuff, and the T-shirt actually fits my puny body. :p
 
My boyfriend went to demo day for me (I had final exams the next day) and got as many freebies as possible but I was a bit disappointed as our TRU had no t-shirts. The Pokémon rep never even showed up, apparently, so there were no stickers or silly Pikachu hats. :( I bought both games and went back yesterday to buy the guide, applying the $10 of gift cards to the guide purchase since that amounted to a much greater savings than 20% off.

Anyone have shirts to spare? :p TRU offered me another free shirt instead, but I want the awesome Lugia/Ho-Oh shirt, not some Mario Bros. or Iron Man shirt like they were offering. :(

At least I got my figurines and basics kits. The styli and cases are pretty cool.
