Kill me. Plasma is already broken as Distortion World. I might leave the game until they go away :/. Also, SP wasn't really bad, decks like Gyarados could still beat it, but normal Pokemon can't do squat to Plasma Pokemon, they are too fast and strong. We need Machamp in this format again, really badly.
 
I don't see the point of people saying Plasma engine is broken. Heck, there's even Plasma badge, wich makes every deck being able to abuse Plasma mechanics.

People here just love to throw around the word "broken" when they really dont understand the concept. A good card does not make it broken. Neo Sloking and Neo Sneasel are broken. So was Sabledonk with the new rules. Those cards and decks that keep almost all other options out of competitive play are broken. Lugia is not broken. Mewtwo, Darkrai, Pokemon Catcher etc, etc, etc are not broken.

I swear, the people on here think everything is broken and ruins the format.

edit: Another point is that if the card was banned or the rules were changed because of a card or strategy, you can assume it is broken then. Arguably, there have been some very lopsided formats in the past, and the reining decks may have border lined broken, however, it is rarely the case that you can consider it broken unless it has been banned or rules have been changed as a direct result. That is all.

In fact, come December there'll probably be a Deoxys game distribution tie-in. I can't remember the last time it was even available, so it'd give the set more "weight" and marketability.

A deoxys download would be nice, I mean they did throw a lot of R/S remake hints into the game |Dc

But hey.
G/S Remake got hints and everyone was spazzing so much about it~
but when R/S Remake gets hints "We're not going to get one"

Seems kinda biased dontchya think?

Dragon Vault, Call of Legends, Shiny collection...... whats gonna happen to these sets will there be dragon vault; the dragons return, or i don't get the point of these, why don't they just make them promos?

do you guys think deoxys will be an ex or will they make him into special reverses like arceus? that seems too weird maybe for the new ruby and saphire remakes(IF THEY EVEN MAKE THEM?) they might just make a new form of deoxys? or they can make a game called exalted emerald or something for the love of 3rd gen?

In a way it is basically just a promo set itself. With even rarities (Except the short printed Kyurem. )
I'd like to see what this set has in store, I'm personally looking forward to the gardevoir.

Only downside with Dragon Vault is the fact that there's a guy here who always is at the store when it opens to nab all the rayquaza ones. He's got a binder tripping in rayquaza.
 
Well, from what I can tell, Dragon Vault was really popular. It's really cool, and although not too many people collect in my area, I've found one DV blister total. They're probably trying to put out another popular subset thing, perhaps while also bringing in a larger female audience

What if every card in the set is a shiny pokemon? but they would have to be normal holos..., and in the blister packs in english came with a special promo card that was like a secret rare with texture and everyone got the blisters with the good promo? its kind of not fair with the promos, i stil cant find the latios and latias dragon vault blisters

Yu-Gi-Oh does this sorta stuff all the time.
It's about time Pokemon did something like that.

Also Latias and Latios are fairly easy to obtain in the packs.

Kyurem wasn't short printed, it was a SR. Big difference.
<sigh> This game has come back to extremely easy DONKs. I don't like this.

Oh, I heard it got short pritned as a SR. Good to know then!

Also yeah, I think they made the EXs too overpowered. Sure the ex pokemon were average, but the EX Pokemon sure are freaking beasts.
