#2 World Peace: Possible or Just a Dream?

I would say it is a dream, it's like a fairytale, if there is good and bad, there will always be a fight. Not all people will be living in harmony, this is partly due to the aparition of money being introduced. People think its so valuable that they must not lose it or just not give it out to any people. This can also start wars and racism if you think about it. This can relate to Obama being the first African-American president, people are so uptight, I hate it. This is why they say "The best things in life are free", they are trying to say, love and friendship is the best thing anyone needs, they dont need money or a fancy home.

And if you think about it, without bad, there will be no good. So with no troubles, there is no such thing as peace.

so im going to reiterate what I said earlier.
world peace is possible.explanation;
If the government made a way to censor the internet and media which is possible maybe even now or in the near future the government could brainwash a majority of the country into believing everything is okay and then using advanced military technology to cover up any would be wars or unpeacful altercations.if there was no reason to hurt someone then people wouldnt do it.
plus we would need advanced medical technology to turn fatal wounds into scraping your knee on the concrete. if you couldnt hurt someone bad enough to permanently effect them people wouldnt do it.so in summary, if we were all brainwashed and pain wasnt a big deal "world peace" would be achieved.

The thing is, the government is greedy and somewhat corrupted, so this will never work.

no, the thing is those things are just more motivation and reasons why they would want to brainwash us.

If you think about it, though, the government is subtly brainwashing us already. Most of the control we have over the government is a mere illusion. In other words, the greedy government influences us more than we influence it.

Back on topic. World peace is just like a utopia - it's impossible to achieve. Humans are inheritably selfish creatures, and there will always be someone who tries to take advantage of another.
