Magnezone is the new claydol... well almost... it allows you to continue drawing cards when your hand gets low... nice... I guess the prime might get valuable...

And gengar... wow is all I can say... I guess fainting spell was not that bad.

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

Oh come on! These cards aren't even broken - they're just ridiculous!

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

this set is not looking good to me, to many game killing cards :(

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

After reading this card, I definitely agree with the second statement. With respect to Gengar's and Magnezone's attacks, does it say energy or energy CARDS? Will DCE count as two for Plunge Into Darkness and/or Lost Burn?

Absol seems counter-productive. It places damage counters on basic pokemon when they're played, which helps to set up knock outs that send the Pokemon to the Lost Zone. However, it has to be active for it to work, meaning you would have to use its attack, which only helps opposing Lost World decks because the goal of the deck isn't to knock out Pokemon to the discard, but to the Lost Zone.

Mime Jr. could combo well with Slowking HGSS or Chatot G. You can start sending Pokemon to the Lost Zone from turn 1. Between this and Gengar, pokemon are safe in neither the hand nor deck

This set is a major blow for SP's, sending their precious LV. X's (usually played in 1, max 2 copies) to the unrecoverable Lost Zone.

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

I like that they're doing a little more with the Lost Zone mechanic.

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

im glad they are focused on lost zone now. i was surprised that absol sends your own card to the lost zone which helps opponent that targets lost zone as well so i think absol lovers *like me* are sad about it. i like gengar prime and magnezone prime is the new claydol *harder to set up* i like mime jr he's awesome .. ~_~

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

SO atlast we dont have to wrry about rotation, but gengar IS broken,to think sfgar was a liitle overpowered, look at its first attack!!!!!!!

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

Absol + Reversal/Luxray Gl Lv X = No more gengar :) just to all you moaners.
but now onto my thoughts, Magnazone has potential It sets you up and in Non-electric decks plays 1-2 energy so that it can clean up late game dealing an easy 150 every turn if you retreat alot or makes (untill rotation) Magnazone a great deck to ply with conductive quarry. potentially dragging back 4 energy each turn to get quick KO's.
Mime jr is another risky baby.
Absol looks IMO better than before, also combo's with Mew Prime
Gengar will wreck the first couple of tourneys it's in before people deal with lost world or we discover more of the cards in the set.

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

Interesting. Maybe in certain games Magnezone could be the replacement Claydol, but of course it won't be as good.

Gengar Prime might seem broken at first, but when I think about it Gengar might not be as good. While the first attack and the body is a pain, you simply have to use Absol Prime or any other Darkness type to KO it. For the attack, keep Pokemon out of your hand (and energy). This forces Gengar to use his last attack, which can be G'd (if it is still in by the time Gengar Prime comes out.)

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

@ Gliscor - Very Innovative, I believe nintendo are planning either a more varied draw system (Magnazone and Ninetails, What next?) and they wont just let their game be ruined, you have made me feel we will keep G or get it in Pop 10 packs which I feel is pretty viable.

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

hopefully they'll release a Trainer (or most likely supporter because of the effect) that will allow a plaer to get x amount of cards out of there Lost zone and shuffle them into there deck to help counter all those lost zoning focused deck.

yeah a decent Magnezone prime, the attack is a bit risky if they don't create a card like i mentioned above but it has a nice power. Hopefully the normal Magnezone will be decent.

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

If you just run Magnezone, a bunch of energies, 4 Rare Candies, and energy searching T/S,
your game will probably go like this:

T1: You go second, so you use Elm's to search for magnezone and rare cand your magnemite. Attatch energy to Magnemite.

T2: Attatch to Magnezone, draw with its power, and deal 50 damage.

Your game could keep on going like that, especially with Moo Moo Milk to heal.
Gengar is also awsome. :)

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

Magnazone/Gatr :DDD lol

But seriously is that a viable combo w/ smeargal from SW?

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

The Pachirisu has a double lightning attack ({L}{L}), but the translation says 1 Lightning and 1 Colorless ({L}{C}). :]

On another note, I really like that Magenzone. :O

"Blow Up the Game" indeed...

Man I hope we won't get these in America. Here's how I see this going:

Turn one, gengar player goes second. Rare candies, uses Plunge into darkness. Grabs a stage 1,2 or level up card that they player wasn't able to play because it was his first turn. Turn 2, gengar plays looker's attaches energy and lost zones 2 pokemon. Turn three, opponent frantically is searching his deck for something to kill gengar, does minor damage, fills up hand with pokes. Gengar player drops the stadium, and lost zones three pokes for the win.

If you look closely there is a psychic symbol in the text of gengar's attack. So its probably psycic energy only.

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

Gengar is going to be the most broken deck in the history of this game. All you can do to counter it is deafen THE WHOLE GAME! I can see this card going for over $100, because it will be the only way to win.

RE: (1) Additional 'Lost Link' Card Translations [4/7]

They need to stop giving all the love to Ghost Pokemon...
