Hey Pokebeach! today i have a deck strat for the 2017 standard format.

first of i wanna explain how i came a cross this....

1. i believe this format will have many Mega evo decks..
2. Many of the high teir decks are being rotated (Night March, Trevenant,Toad) and greninja will take hit without the XY base set Greninja.
3. lower teir decks will finally get to shine! such as this one!!

13
3-3x Sceptile EX
2x Giratina EX
1x Trevenant EX
2x Shaymin EX
1x Hoopa EX
1x Jiarchi Promo 67

26
4x Vs Seeker
4x Ultra Ball
3x Trainers Mail
3x Sceptile Spirit link
3x Max Elixir
2x Mega Turbo
3x Forest Of Giant Plants
2x FFA
1x Prof. Letter
1x Float Stone

10
3x Sycamore
2x N
2x Lysandre
1x Skyla
1x Hex Maniac
1x Fisherman

11
7x Grass Energy
4x Psychic Energy

Lemme explain, sceptile will be a huge deck in the upcoming for mat. with power to heal damage and increase energy counts per turn. with help from Max Elixir you can play even more energy!
with the (Most Likely) increase of Mega decks being played, having Giratina is a huge bonus. with the energy added by Sceptiles attack, the combo could be deadly. Trevenant is a card that saw little to no play in the 2016 format. but a one of in this deck wouldn't be a bad idea if you need to hit big damage to maybe a Wailord EX (which is in the format but has lost a lot of power due to loss of some key cards). the jirachi is a great one of to help against deck that run heavy counts of special energy, even though many of those decks are now not in standard (Night March, Toad Decks).
Having a great match up against the #2 deck now in standard (Night March is still #1) Greninja, because of the weakness to grass any Sceptile variation will be good.

Any questions about the deck or anything i should add? please make sure to comment and have a great day, Beach Goers!!!

why not just DDE over psychic energy? also what's the main purpose of having Jirachi promo here?

i dont wanna run dde becuse mirror maches or and giratina match or jirachi. and jirachi as an extra support. agaisnt say, giratina XD

the new supporter pokemon ranger can remove attack effects, e.g.stardust or chaos wheel. so your concern shouldn't be a problem.

lugia ex is better than Trevenant ex here, due to different weakness and comparable power too.

where should i make the adjustment?

Hey so I've heavily tested a deck list very similar to this, here are my suggestions.

-1 Trevenant EX
-1 Jirachi Promo
-3 Max Elixir
-2 Mega Turbo
-4 Psychic Energy

+1 Hydreigon EX
+1 Delinquent
+1 Professor Sycamore
+1 Float Stone
+2 Parallel City
+1 Grass Energy
+4 Double Dragon Energy

I've found that at least 8 grass energies give the M Sceptile loop enough consistency to be effective. With the addition of Hydreigon EX you can counter pokemon like Regice that try to use attacks to block you. Hydreigon also benefits Giratina by allowing it to retreat for a single energy, fluidity in bench space is important for M Sceptile decks in order to maximize the healing of Jagged Saber. Speaking of bench space, you'll often need Hoopa and your Shaymins to get set up leaving you with 2 bench spaces for your other pokemon. While this won't always be an issue, being able to clear your bench with Parallel City also prevents your opponents from targeting your Shaymins and Hoopa for easy prizes. Nothing is worse than having built up a nearly impenetrable M Sceptile loop only to see your Shaymins cost you the game. That also explains the inclusion of Delinquent since you usually won't want Parallel City up for long (unless you used it on M Ray...). And having 5 stadiums and delinquent along with Giratina's attack means you should win most stadium wars. Although you could probably drop the Delinquent for one of the new Supporters like Ninja Boy or Pokemon Ranger.

Overall you are giving up some energy acceleration but I felt the trade was worth it in my testing. The main problem remaining imo is finding a way to deal damage in increments higher than 100. Maybe adding a 1-1 Ariados line could help or running a few Giovanni's Scheme. Of course, I've been testing M Sceptile deck lists in the current meta and run a few things differently but it should be interesting to see how strong a deck like this can be in the upcoming format. I sure am excited about it!
