Today (January 15th, 2012), My dad drove me to league around 2:47 pm. Leagues regular time is around 1 to 5pm. So I get there and a mini tournament has just started at round 1 and I was late by 5 minutes. The league leader, Helen, was nice enough to let me play round 1, since there was a odd amount of players. I decided to test Durant today. And I annoyed a lot of people today... 
There were four rounds and I saw Glaceon there.
Round 1: SWD (Durant) vs. (Volcarona, Simesear, Leavanny.dec) (Senior)
So I start out with Durant and go second. He starts with Pansear and Lavesta and goes first. He uses Great Ball twice for Sewaddle and Swadloon. Then passes. I go get three Durant out with Pokemon Collector. Attach a Metal Energy and use Devour four cards. He goes and attaches to Lavesta and evolves into Volcarona and Sewaddle to Swadloon. And evolves Pansear. He passes. I go and Catcher up the Simsear. I attach metal to another Durant then Devour for 4. He goes and attaches to another bench pokemon and pretty much does this the whole game and doesn't attack me once for a prize card... I devour the rest of his deck and win.

Round 2: SWD (Durant) vs. Jonathan (Junior) (Reshiboar) (1-0)
I was like oh no I'm going to lose to this, since you know Durant is weak to Fire. He goes first with Reshiram (Active) then, Tepig, Reshiram and Tepig benched. He attaches Fire energy to active Reshiram and passes. I start with Durant and use two Dual Ball and flip 4 heads lol on all of them with one Rotom. I attach Metal Energy then use N. I Devour for four cards. I discarded 2 supporters and 2 energy. He goes and draws and passes, he had a bad hand. I flip heads on two Crushing Hammer to get rid of the two fire energy on the board. Then use Devour. He goes and attaches Double Colorless Energy and uses Outrage for 20 on my Durant with Evolite. I Lost Remover the DCE and then Devour again and again and again. Since he couldn't get any energy out, since I discarded his Fishermen and Energy Retrieval and like 13 energy. I deck him out in the end and win.

Round 3: SWD (Durant) vs. Brian (Junior) with (Zekrom, Reshiram, Emboar, Magnezone) (1-1)
Downpaired, say what? lol Anyways I didn't notice that until now. He goes first and starts with two Zekrom and attaches lightning and passes. I start with Durant and get Collector and get 3 Durant out and attach Energy and Devour for four. He goes and attaches energy to Zekrom and Collector's for Magnemite and two Tepig. He attaches fire to Zekrom and Outrages for 20 damage. I go and Catcher up his other Zekrom. I devour again. He Candy's into Magnezone and Emboar. He uses Switch his Zekrom and brings up Magnezone. He attaches DCE and Fandango's one Fire energy onto the Magnezone. He uses Lost Burn then I remind him he can't since he needs one lightning to attack, which he didn't have on it. He passes. I go attach metal energy to another Durant and Devour for another four. He goes and attaches energy then passes even though he could knock out Durant with Lost Burn. Biggest misplace is what I saw from him. I Devour again and he has four cards left in his deck after that. He finally KO's Durant with Magnezone. Next turn. I win with Devour to deck him out.
I finished early so I went to watch Glaceon's match against Keith (Donphan and Dragons). So Glaceon was down to three cards in his deck and had three prizes left. While Keith had 5 or 6 prizes left. Lucky time was called and Keith was turn zero. So Keith went and couldn't get the energy. Glaceon had his Magnezone and Zekrom all charged up but didn't bother to attack, so he just passed and had two cards left in his deck. Keith couldn't get the energy on his next turn and passed and Glaceon used Pokemon Communication to put a Magnemite back in his deck to not deck out. Glaceon was turn 3 and he won, since it was three prizes to six or five.

(I mean OH NO, that means we have to face each other in the last round. lol)
While I waited, I traded with some other kid (Junior). I traded my full art Thundurus for his Vileplume, Tornadus and a Full Art Reshiram (in bad condition though...)

He goes first and starts with Zekrom and attaches Lightning energy and Collector's for Magnemite, Tynamo and Tynamo. I haven't gone first all day,,,, Anyways I go and start with Durant. I have Juniper,Special Metal, Metal, Twins, N, and Crushing Hammer. I draw into Evolite and attach and attach Special Metal Energy I use Crushing Hammer and flip tails.... Then I'm able to get a hint about Glaceon's hand from him saying "No my hand is bad" (Sarcasticly). I N his hand and I get crud... (Twins, Twins, Metal, Lost Remover, Lost Remover, Crushing Hammer) I Devour for one card.... Now I'm afraid I'm going to get Donked.... He goes and evolves into Eel and Magnezone. Attaches to Magnezone and passes. I go and lucky draw into another Durant and then Devour for two. He goes and knocks out my Durant with Zekrom's Bolt Strike. I bring up Durant attach Metal Energy. And drew into Dual Ball and used it for two Durant. I Twins for Rotom and Revive. I bench Rotom and 2 Durant. I use Rotom's power and I thought the card said Move one card from the top card of your deck to the prizes and take one of the prize cards and put it in your hand... So Glaceon told me no it doesn't do that.... I need to read more... lol I Devour for four. He goes and sets up another Eel and Dynamotor's to Eel and to Magnezone. He Catchers Rotom and Bolt Strikes Rotom for another prize. I go and Twins again for Rainbow and Revive. Get out Rotom and attach Rainbow energy and retreat the Durant with a metal energy on it. Then I use N, biggest misplay since he was close to decking out. I Plasma Arrow for the knock out. He goes and sets up his third Eel. Dynamotor to Magnezone and Eel, so each Eel has about two energy each on it and Magnezone has 3. He has Magnezone active and uses lost burn to knock out Rotom. He has three prizes. I bring up Durant Devour, he KO's that one and then same thing for the next turn leaving him at two prizes. He has four cards in his deck and I need another Revive to win. This is where my winning streak ends and bad luck hits. Okay I have Juniper and I use it. I need either Revive or Junk Arm. I ran only two Revive in my deck, since I didn't have the two more, which Glaceon gave me two more Revive after the tournament. I don't draw into it, my hand is (2 Pokegear, 2 Pokemon Collector, 2 Victory Medal and 1 Lost Remover)... Now to flip heads on these two Victory Medals! First, Victory Medal I roll snake eyes. Second, Victory Medal I roll snake eyes again!!! What is wrong with my dice!?!?! After that I couldn't get the fourth Durant and only Devour for three, he goes and Lost Burn for the last prize. It was such a close game! I lost, leaving me at 3-1.
Glaceon gets first place and I get second place! So Helen let us chose between Noble Victories or Emerging Powers packs as prizes. Three for first prize and two for second place and one pack for everyone else in the tournament. She had two extra packs and gave one to Glaceon and I. Glaceon ended up with four packs and I with three packs. So Glaceon pulls two Chandelure from his packs, one reverse and other non holo. He picked three Noble Victory packs and 1 Energing Powers and I picked two Emerging Powers and one Noble Victory pack. I pull Full Art Thundurus and Catcher in first pack! Second pack I pull regular Thundurus and another Catcher! Noble Victory pack, reverse Rocky Helmet. I pulled stuff like a god. lol Glaceon and everyone around me were angry and jealous for what I pulled. lol
