Gamstop will probobly do something like "TRADE IN YOUR DSI DSI XL AND DS LITE AND GET XXX$ OF THE 3DS" like they did with the dsi
 
I hope they do that because I would love to get it for less! When I was little, I had the first DS. It dropped and it was wan't breaking, and I wanted a DS Lite. So, I could see inside of it, so I ripped it apart, and my mom got me the DS Lite!
 
You'll most likely be able to sell your old DS for a 3DS with a price cut.
The graphics with the 3DS also does look better for some reason when I watched a video that showed which titles will be on the 3DS.
 
They have had Black as a color for every DS model. I guess black is one of those universal colors. I really don't see why there hasn't been a green DS released in North America. Green is my favorite color. Hopefully there will be some sort of green colored 3DS. That would be awesome.
 
ripoff will NOT buy this like how much was the dsi xl my friend got one for Christmas but told him to wait to get the 3DS BUT NO he HAD to get the dsi xl (pant pant) I hope they just keep releasing Pokemon (unless only if necessary) for the ds
 
I hope that 3DS Pokemon games will be able to be played on DS. I don't care for 'omagad a 3D pokemon *fangirl scream*

Pokemon can be in normal but PLEASE let them be played on normal ds T_T

and tbh i dont get nintendo "DSi, super new DSi XL, gotta have it!!!!!!", half year later new console? o_o
 
It's not surprising. They always have frequent turnovers. And it's not a unique practice. Look how many iPhone versions out so far, you'd think Apple would've got it all right by the 2nd version (based on feedback of the first version).
 
^ They said that they will stop producing the DS, only 3DS. Thats what i heard. So it is inevitable that pokemon will become 3D. But imagine the battling scene. That would be awesome, and the moves would be extreme.
 
I would have to say that Struggle Bug may be my favorite attack ever. I may have to get a pokemon in-game that knows that move just because it's that awesome. I hope they come out with other funny attack names, but at the same time I don't want them to, as many people may complain.
 
3DS games will not be able to be played on a regular DS/DS Lite/DSi/XL. It's kind of like DS games not working on a Game Boy Advance lol.

An analyst at CNET.COM actually said that the 3DS was priced to low, and that it will be the Wii all over again. Because of its enhanced features, and the cheap price, it will seem like a bargain, so it will be sold out everywhere and people will not be able to buy it because there is so few on stock. Same thing happened when the wii came out.
 
They'll stay in 2D, from what I understand.

@EPF: Why do you keep advertising all of these "links" around the forum? No offense but it's getting a bit annoying.
