(3) EX Factor, Mewtwo Box, Bolt Badge Season [2/9]

Lol, if only Mewtwo jumbo was playable...what a mistake. Battle City is outclassed by Skyarrow and Tropical Beach, so sales will be relatively low.

Um, no. Most people who buy Pokemon TCG products are kids who only want the shiny cards and the popular Legendary Pokemon. The TCG rarely bends itself to the needs of competitive players, which only make up a super small portion of the pie. The Mewtwo box will probably fly off the shelves since it's Mewtwo.

Man, we all wished it included the regular Mewtwo EX.
Blot Badge is cool.
Read the EX Factor article last night, nice!

Agreed. The jumbo-size card is also a favorite among kids, collectors, and casual fans, as it's something big and impressive. Otherwise, they wouldn't keep making jumbo cards.

This does make me wonder when I'll be seeing these in stores, considering there is still no V for Victini tin around here.

The part that makes me cry is that I still haven't received any goodies for the first two seasons at League. Then again, it's because the league owner doesn't show up very often.

I know that everyone is commenting on this topic, but honestly Pokemon? Just give us the damn Mewtwo promo and everything will be fine. ;)

Battle City's artwork is intense, but the card is just meh. If nothing else, though, it provides a decent counter-stadium to Skyarrow Bridge and a bit of extra draw.

Exactly. I bought it myself to give my girlfriend the figurine and to trade the jumbo for something at league, since there are kids there that put things like that on their wall or on the front of their binders or something. Plus I have friends that collect promos. Saves the effort of them buying the box themselves, and gives me some trade bait.

Pulled crap out of the packs btw. Save for a RH DCE and the Vanilluxe with the Warp Point ability. EX's are seeming really rare; Out of the 3 boxes my friends have bought, each of them only got 3 EX's per box. 2 of them got shinies though...

I have the regular Mewtwo-EX from pulling it at prerelease, so the only reason I'd consider this box is for the packs and maybe the figure. The TCG figures are so tiny and easy to break, though. I'm not convinced. Weird how Pokemon.com siad Mewtwo Collection wouldn't hit shelves til April. I actually read the EX Factor on the forums already. :p

It comes with a jumbo Mewtwo-EX card, a reverse holo Battle Stadium promo (BW39), three Next Destinies booster packs, a Mewtwo figurine, and a TCGO card.

Question for whoever bought the box, what does that code card unlock? Since the packs are all ND, they already have their codes so I guess it's not packs. So it's basically either Battle City or Mewtwo-EX since I don't believe they would put in a code card only for a virtual figurine. Can somebody confirm?

Also, WPM, it's Battle City, not Battle Stadium. :p

I'm actually planning on buying the Mewtwo box as A) an excuse to get more ND packs (>_>) and B) for the jumbo Mewtwo card! I don't normally like jumbo cards, but I really love the Mewtwo EX artwork, so I'm looking forward to having it in jumbo form. Here's hoping I can actually find them around here...

I love that Battle City artwork so much. It's too bad the card itself is so unplayable.

I was expecting a jumbo Mewtwo-EX, but I'm a little disappointed that I still have to search so hard for them.

I had a very hard time finding any ND stuff at all yesterday. Out of Wal Mart, Target, Toys R Us and K Mart, Wal Mart was the only place I could find that had any ND stuff stocked. Most of the figurine's have black scratches on their heads/and or stomach which I find extremely irritating. Out of the 9 or so boxes I found at Wal Mart, only 2 were clean. The stadium is somewhat decent, not really playable but it's a promo, reverse holo and has Mewtwo on it– it will sell. The packs did have the greatest cards, but they had some decent pulls (prism, reverse Cilan).

The figurine's average condition alone is enough to make me not refer this to anybody, at least until new prints get made/molded and the Mewtwos aren't all dinged up while still packaged.

This.
I don't even play the TCG, and I'm getting that box for the Mewtwo figurine alone, banged up condition or not. I'll fix it myself if I have to. :}D

^ That, was pure genius. :p

I thought that the Bolt Badge was supposed to be orange instead of red on top though...
The cards are cool, but I'd rather have NV Emolga. (It's SO cute!!! :D)
The Energy makes you look like you mean bussiness. ]=)

The Mewtwo Figurine is epic.
I like how the Jumbo MewtwoEX is all foily and stuff.
However, I wasn't expecting Battle City to be Reverse Holo, so that was a nice surprise!:D

Man I hope I can get my hands on this Mewtwo box as it looks pretty epic and awesome. Hopefully I can get the box soon XD.:)

The jumbo Mewtwo-EX is so trolltastic in light of the actual card's $80 selling price at the moment.

I imagine that Mewtwo EX's price will only continue to climb. :T I'm all for strong cards but these overpowered basics that can be used in every deck are getting a bit old in my opinion.

By the way, Battle City seems to function exactly like Lucky Stadium. Man, I miss Lucky Stadium because Imakuni? drew it. The artwork here is cool, but I prefer funny-looking stuff like Lucky Stadium.

I mean, here it has Kyurem vs. Mewtwo, but Lucky Stadium had Doduo vs. Doduo.
