(3) Megalo-Cannon, Pokemon TV and Meloetta, Pokemon Scramble U [2/12]

Honestly not a huge fan of Genecect EX. I would like it more if there was good energy acceleration for it. It might actually be pretty good in Hydreigon. I don't really see Red Signal working without Porygon-Z, since you're using up your attachment for the turn.

Another note; I don't think this card will kill Keldeo. If it's Blastoise, they can just use Black Kyurem, and then you have to attach 3 more energies to KO another Keldeo. If it's any other deck, they can just not put down Keldeo if they know you're playing Genecect.

Yes you're right, they wont rotate out that many sets at once. However Genesect should be around for at least one season without catcher, here's how it will probably work imo:

2013-2014 Season: NXD-on or DEX-on

2014-2015 Season: PS-on or BW8-on

No matter how you slice it, unless we have no rotation in one of the coming years or unless we get it reprinted, the 2014-2015 season will be a catcher free season and thus Genesect will become a broken card like luxray (they'll probably have to reprint plasma energy if they go BW8-on because otherwise a lot of plasma cards become unplayable).

And yes I'm talking about a rotation that wont happen for another 2 years, deal with it. :p

Have they made a Black & White Jirachi EX yet?
 
Not yet. BW9 and the eventual BW10 in July will be the last chance for yet to be made EX cards (along with any subsequent decks in JP.)

Well, early, but RIP pokemon BW. Wonder what new utra rare is.
 
Well it's just logical -- last BW movie is in July, in July there is always a TCG set released alongside the rest of merch mecca, so it'd make sense for it to be BW10 because we won't know all of the Pokemon of XY yet. Then XY Era will hit in October. Same pattern as BW Era.
 
I'm not too sure how Genesect-EX is gonna go, since I don't really trust EtherDex. However, if EtherDex does work, then this card will be like Darkrai but better. Not sure how well doing 20 to the bench is.
The maximum number of "Catchers" is a lot more than 8, if you include things which bring back Plasma Energy and Ninetales and De-ev spray.
Also, just because it one-shots Keldeo-EXs, doesn't mean it'll kill it. They can still come back with six energies and one-shot you. Then you have to set up another Genesect-EX. On the flip side, I have a feeling Frozen City from the set before will already have maimed Keldeo-EX.
Just to put it out there, I'm predicting some sort of extra support for Genesect-EX, at the least in some small subtle way.

I love it! The app is easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and the best part of all is that it's going to be updated regularly. They are going to need to fix a bunch of the major bug issues I keep experiencing, but that's all normal. Also looking forward to more advanced generation since I sadly don't have all of those ones on DVD.

I'm really excited to see more people have easier access to the shows that don't usually air anymore. :]

I agree, it'll be nice for newer fans (and me!) to be able to watch the older episodes.
 
Hello grass types. EtherDex just became awesome, and Ho-oh will rise in play! So we'll have at least 5 good decks at one time! Dis gon b gud.

Yeah, I was watching them off the website when it was redesigned. They started with episodes 1, 2, and 3, and added 3 each week in chronlogocial order all the way up until the Exeggutor episode. Then they decided to deviate with random episodes. :/ But random episodes are cool. And the Meloetta special, that's cool.

So, Rumble U. Very glad to see it back on a console as a downloadable game. It works well for the series as opposed to a $30 3DS release that requires multiple copies for multiplayer. Very cool. With Mystery Dungeon lacking a ton of Pokemon, this seems like spinoff of the year.

Rumble U better have shinies, that was one of the main reasons the first one was good. And hopefully they learned a few things from the overpriced "smh" that was Rumble Blast.

I'm glad that the Meloetta short will be released and I hope it'll be on the Keldeo DVD.

Yeah there are some benefits to it being grass.. Like Keldeo. But Victini w/V-Create will just OHKO it, yes V-Create is being used now. The only way to get it built up easily is using Victini EX.
