Ok I need something cleared up. The blue 3DS isn't ALL blue is it? The top screen is black right? I was shocked when I first noticed that. I thought maybe they did it to show that two colours are available to choose from but now I think it's for the 3D to work.

On Topic: Yeah, the black is to make the screen "pop" more. And trust me, from past DSs I can tell you that it does, but the SCREEN size will look smaller. (SCREEN looks smaller for some reason, PICTURE looks bigger and more immersive)

Because of the short battery life, Nintendo added the charging cradle, its basically a portable charging source. You can play while using that two. And a new DS version is released every two years. And the price has always gone up, except for the DS Lite, but in other countries the price has gone up for every new version.
Games will come out pretty fast i suppose, and they are discontinuing the DS. So you will need the 3DS for games.
I cant decide, the black or Blue. The only reason i cant decide is the contrast between the black top screen and the bottom, i like the contrast on the blue, but it doesnt stand out on the black.... And i love the color black and neutral colors on my tech. HELP!!!

Oh boy.. Zenith's Price range may have been slightly right. Dead or Alive: Dimensions- $50 on Gamestop. I hope that this is only for a couple of games! I can't afford Console Price for a handheld game.... Everytime I buy a new game.

I went to amazon.com to see the 3DS, and if you scroll down to the bottom, it shows percentages. After looking at the black 3ds, 74% of people bought it, while 13% bought the blue one. And if you look athe the blue 3ds page, at the bottom, 61% of people bought it after viewing the page, while 25% bought the black one.
looks like the black one will be pretty popular.
And gamestop right now is doing, if you trade in your dsi before 3/20/11, you get 75 bucks off the 3DS, means you will be ds-less for a few weeks.

For those of you waiting, have fun getting it around the end of the year; only 4 million will be made, with 2.5m of those going to Japan. The rest are for the rest of the world. Not just the US, the rest of the world.

Lol is this serious... Just a minute. Nintendo started whole craze with the DS now they will make handfull of consoles and launch them around the globe...?
This makes no sence... Either they are planning that buyers will fight in a shops for it (??) OR only 200 people in world will have it. Then again, it makes no sence, because games for 3DS are coming! So why would they release such a small amount of consoles, with the GAMES comming? Where are people going to play them?

Ahh doesn't matter. It'll be a while before the next Pokemon games come out anyways. And if I'm not mistaken....Emerald came out after the DS did and we all know that game was for the GBA. So you've got a decent chance of having Grey on DS as well.
