I am posting this deck by request so my experience with it is limited. However, it has top cut at every Battle Roads Andrew attended except yesterday with two wins and two 2nd place spots and has proven to be competitive this Battle Roads season.

The strategy is to tank with Donphan, pretty simple. The whole deck supports Donphan.
 
Well you need more basics in here so i would put in two stantler from Unleashed because it hase call for familey and take out two quick ball and put that in.
And it might be nice to have more energys in here some times decks dont have energys in the starting hand so take out two plus power and put in two fighting energy.
 
1'st guy - That completely ruins the whole point of the deck, it doesn't need more basics.

But like i said some times you dont get enough energy cards at the start. You dont have a lot of basics you could be getting a lot of muligans so your oppoent would be drawing a lot at the start of the game.
 
It doesn't mulligan too much but it does happen a lot. With four Judge and Copycat though you have a good chance of getting one in your opening hand and you are almost guaranteed an energy out of all of those cards. If you don't there is always Pokedex and Pokedrawer+. I don't think getting energy has ever been a problem for me when I tried it.
 
Maybe you should put that stantler in just like two of them it could hurt quick ball thoue. And the other problem it would become junk later.
