(4) BW Collection Cards, More Sugimori Artwork, Starter English Names on Monday, Cities Items [11/19

The last photo that peeks at the trio also features information on the 2011 VGC. Anyway we can get a translation on that?
 
Finally some BW cards start leaking. And only two of them are complete, well whatever.

Reshiram is amazing and makes a fabulous combo with Typhlosion, making it both capable of spaming 120 damage, but when you accumulate too much you can outrage for a significant amount of damage (varying on how much it has on him) To top him off he has 130 HP which is quite nice, and takes only two to retreat him. Excellent

Zekrom on the other hand suffers from not having the spamable 120 like Reshiram does and instead takes 40 damage, which too much when using a big attacker, but he does have outrage to combo with it nicely and his damage problem can be helped by the new Jalorda, but it just doesn't have the great usability that Reshiram has.

A pleasing start to say the least.
 
I would be so proud of Nintendo if the actually looked at some of the fan forums and decided to name the Grass starter Smugleaf. That would speak so much, I think, to really reaffirming Nintendo's stance on rewarding the fans who have stuck with them. Now, realistically, after all the legal bullshit about WPM and the leaked images, Nintendo will probably be pretending that NOBODY in America has seen any of the new Pokémon, and name the Grass starter something far less amazing than Smugleaf.

So, the names:

Grass: Smugleaf (plz!)
Water: either Wotter or Awter
Fire: Piglit
 
I really hope they keep the JP names for the starters. X3 But they probably wont... *sigh* I can however see them keeping Emboar as Pokabu's final evo name in the USA. ^^ It fits perfectly with the english language combo's they tend to use.

Pokabu - kindlit (kindle/piglit)
Mijumaru - ??? ^^' IDK...
Tsutarja - arisnake (aristocrat/snake)
 
Startes will be: Tsutarja, Pokabu and Mijumaru! :3 Well at least I hope Mijumaru will stay as Mijumaru.

I swear it looks more like a death demon or something judging from its head. NAISE. It looks awesome though.

Aiant/Iront/Aianto and Sazandora look evil. But Washibon looks more emo with Ken Sugimori's rendition. And the golems look awesome.

Chandera seems to have that classy look. Most important of all the 2 trios look terribly nicer than their sprites. They were totally saved. Now I finally can see how Cobalon's head actually looks like.

If I were to have a wild and pathetic guess for English names, they would be:

Tsutaja - Leafnake
Pokabu - Charpig
Mijumaru - Ottelder
 
Tsutarja - Eversnake: Evergreen and snake.
Pokabu - Porkeque: Pork and barbeque.
Mijumaru - Shellter: Shell and water.
 
The names will probably be like:
Jungake {G} (jungle/snake)
Piboar {R} (pig/boar)
Otshell {W} (otter/shell)
 
I'm really diggin' Shibirudon and I love the aliens with their little jellybean fingers and the fedora/trench coat combo. Kyurem looks much better than he does in his sprite. The trainer artwork also looks really nice.
Some of them look as I expected, though. The snowflake, garbage bag, and Gear's line just aren't appealing to me at all, and the mushroom...oh god that mushroom. The new artwork only intensifies its obnoxiousness. I just want to smack it and demand to know why it looks so utterly lame.

As for the English names - I think the Pokabu is going to be Pignite. The two words simply fit together. I can actually see Mijumaru being called Wotter, but unfortunately I can't see Tsutarja officially being known as Smugleaf. I predict something along the line of Snivy, since it also sounds like "snide."
 
Guys, I don't think Kyurem can be the theird version Ledegdary, because its base total is 20 lower than Reshiram and Zekrom. The only other third version Legendary that had it's base lower, was Suicune.

...which just goes to show Kyukyu~ still stands a chance despite having base stat discrepancy.

I mean... when the devs choose the mascot, they don't choose it based on the base stats do they?
 
Rayquaza's BST is 680, but Kyogre and Groudon's BST is 670, so no, base stats really aren't indicative of anything since they can just do whatever they want.

Heck, you already mentioned Suicune who isn't even part of a trio with Lugia and Ho-Oh, and yet it was the version mascot for the third game.
