Not bad given the recordings were off a live stream, audio is fine, video is a bit jerky. Bangiras can probably give us a full translation of it, but the big thing heerosferret pointed out to us while we were watching was this response to the "who is the key character" question:

"Not Satoshi (Ash)... definitely an electric pokemon will save the world this time."

Rotom? :D

Wow. That site is pretty impressive.(Though a little annoying to navigate.)

It looks like the new Shaymin has 110 HP. Sounds good enough to last a while.

The new DS is pretty meh. I think it's more then it needs to be, and isn't what it should be.(Also, I lol'd at them advertising lower battery life as a feature =P) The DSi Shop sounds promising, though.

I thought I would mention this. Wouldn't it be great if the DSi allowed you to play games you have already purchased on virtual console? I mean it shouldn't be that hard, the only games I can see having a problem would be the N64 ones due to lack of buttons.

viper.fox lives in Japan? Did you happen to get a clip of the new Naruto songs that show after Pokemon? But for DSi, people with DS Lites in my opinion, shouldn't get it, time for the people with a DS to make a comeback.:p

Nooo. I live down in Australia, but I'm only an hour ahead so I was able to catch the tv tokyo broadcast streaming over the web while most other people over in the US were asleep (it was like.. 3 am in most time zones).

I sadly didn't! I stopped recording and watching after the special.

With the DSi, I guess sacrfices were needed...I wonder how the DS games will work and if the DSi will create any games just for the DSi...

I saw the website earlier today, and yes, it is almost the most impressive Flash I've seen in a while. I did not realize that it was a guitar remix of Red/Blue; I can hear it now. Good call.

I have to things on the cards.
1. That seems to be a Brock in the background.
2. The Shaymin and Giratina Lv. Xs seem to be RHs as well.

They have the same new holo format that they introduced to the level x cards in DP6IFDS - the front of the card is glossy, the glossy layer has a star decal holographic, and underneath you have the standard cosmo holo that is on the other level x cards. The reprint cards have this same treatment, as do the shiny cards (the glosstop coat with the holo stars)

I think it stinks it can't connect with DS. But this is still new so hopefully they will make some improvements.

The cards look pretty cool. I wish I could see the whole cards and in Englisg but the art looks pretty cool anyway.:)

T2 Shaymin Sky Forme Lv X could be a potential deck (since its attack only requires 2 energy). I can't decide on whether Giratina Lv X (which looks really cool, by the way) has 130 HP or 140 HP. Hmmm.

You do know that the DSI is coming out in JAPAN at November 1st. And early 2009 in OTHER COUNTRIES.
