4 Lv. X in GE

Do YOU like the fact that there will be only 4 Lv. X?

The Pokemon TCG website has just said that there will be 4 Lv. X in the set, and all of them will be Legendaries. So, we now offically now that only Cresselia, Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai will be in the set. I've included the news link at the bottom of this post.

So, it looks like even after DP4, we still have these Lv. X left to appear:

Glaceon
Garchomp (I can't believe he's still on the waiting list.)
Leafeon
Porygon Z (If we still haven't seen Garchomp, don't expect to see him for a while.)

If Leafeon and Glaceon Lv. X aren't in the set, does that mean the other Eeveelutions will not appear? And also as WPM said, we are only getting 106 cards, what other cards will be not be included in the set. And will we get a secret rare or two in this set, due to the small amount of cards in the set compared to the other DP sets?

You can post what you think will be the answeres to this question, and also discuss if you like/dislike the fact that there will only be 4 Lv. X in GE.

garchomp isn't coming to usa and pory isn't either
 
Umbreondude what gives you any idea that Chomp and Porygon Lv.X are not coming to North American sets?

I'm fine, it replaces one from SW

I think they will eventually make it to America, because there was two different versions of Lucario Lv. X in Japan, (One in a set and one in a visual book, which is how you get Garchomp and Pory Z) And the Lucario that was released in the visual book later became a tin. It took a while. (It released in Japan last March and came to the US 8 nomths later, in November.) But, has it been 8 Months since when Garchomp released in Japan? (It released last July.)No. if we go by that time, it'll release in about March, so we have two options on how we'll get Garchomp:

-Secret Rare in GE. PUSA doesn't revealed Secret Rares until shortly before the set releases.

-You know how the Lucario tin was sort of like a sequel of the Infernape/Torterra/Empoleon tins? Maybe Garchomp will be the sequel tin of the tins released this spring. (Probably Dialga/Palkia/Darkrai.)

Bottom Line: Don't dismiss the idea about Chomp and Pory Z.
 
I'm very dissappointed. Mainly because this probably means that we have to wait EVEN LONGER for the Eeveelutions... I had a lot of hype about the possibility of the Eeveelutions being in this set until PUSA had to screw it all up. >.> Good job, PUSA. Thanks for DISPLEASING us!

Ok, I'm done ranting know. lol
 
You we're displeased? As a player you should be happy, considering the next format will be DP-On and taking a wild leap into the future, the format after that will be DP5-on, considering the Eeveelutions are in DP5 they should be able to stay in for 3 formats rather than 2. Would you rather have Eevee now for 2 formats or Eevee in May for 3 formats
 
Being an Eeveelution fanatic, I'd rather have them ASAP regardless of how long they stay in format. Go ahead and shun me if you wish. My opinion will remain the same. Not like it matters now anyways.

That's kind of how I felt. I was going to be an Eeveelution Deck for each Eeveelution, but I've got to wait til May. But like Po-Po-Pocchama said, it is nice to have the Eeveelutions around til 2010 Worlds!
 
That's true, but like I said previously, it would've been nice to have had them earlier, regardless whether or not they'd survive for 2 or 3 seasons. Well, I guess there's a bright side to everything, but it just sucks for me since I have saved up nearly two months worth of money (saving $60 from each week, meaning I almost have $480) to buy 4-5 booster boxes to get all the Eeveelutions I could possibly need, as well as a good chance in getting at least ONE of either Leafeon Lv X or Glaceon Lv X. And now I gotta wait LONGER for them after I have been saving up for so long. x.x
 
Actually, I'm quite happy with the rise of the amount of Lv.Xs. At least there will be a higher chance in one box. But still, i'm quite disappointed with the lack of eeveelutions though.
 
Glaceon Lv. X is nothing special. I's just like an Empoleon with Cessation Crystal. (It's attack I mean)
 
Yes, at least that's one thing to be happy about. We did get more than in any other DP set, and there's still the possibility of getting a secret rare or two. Maybe Garchomp? I don't know...
 
4 LV X in a box will be very interesting because we might get 2 LV X in a GE box but lets say the LV Xs are Dialga, Palkia, Darkrai & Cresselia(like how PMJ predicted), I would say 2 of the LV X are boring due to their attacks...
 
I'm truly dissapointed. I really wanted to see the Eeveelutions in this set. Now, L&G X is still going to maintain it's high price. I also thought that Garchomp X was going to be in this set. But, meh.. Atleast they didnt ditch Darkrai and Cresselia.. or this set would be utter lame..

I doubt. Garchomp made it to an actual set. Why cut what is in ones set? They're playing around with a switcheroo, but who's to say it will never see release?

For all you know, he might still be in DP4.

I'm not too disappointed, I have other deck ideas in mind right now. Leafeon/Sceptile would immediatly hit hype, and I don't think I want to deal with that right now. My focus is on beating Gallade/Gardevoir.

next seasons format is going to be pk-on , and it will be dp3-on and then dp-6[if there is one]-on

Why would they keep only one EX set? We all know they usually cut out about 4 sets a year, and that would make next year a DP-on format, and 2009-2010 will likely be DP4-on or DP5-on, and 2010-2011 will likely be the set after DP6 and on.
 
It would be strange if PK stayed in format. I personally think that will be rotated out with all the DP sets that have/are coming out, so that there will be one big DP-themed season (mostly). If it does stay in format, though, I'll have to find a way to use Salamence ex before it says bye-bye. Making it work, though, is a different story. lol
