There is hope for us they said this was the first one so there will be more and they said they might make it an op so they might just be testing it on U.S.A and Japan to se how they do so they dont have to waste money if it dosn't work out.Meening that I think next year if they have this agan they should have other countres if not then they are *!^&@$@&(*.

The new TCG mechanics are certainly interesting, even if they're not as earth-shaking as Dark Pokemon or Delta Pokemon. Nice to see the return of Shinies in their third incarnation.

The Giratina with the remove-from-play attack reminds me a little too much of Yu-Gi-Oh!, unfortunately. I wouldn't mind seeing what its other attacks (if any) may be, or what counter-cards might arise.

I can hazard a guess as to which three cards will be reprinted from Base Set. I won't reveal exactly which three, but I'll let you know that one of them would completely wreck the format.

The rules are broken. In terms of the banned list, they have Dragonite on the list and Wobbuffet not on it. I don't know how Drafonite got on their in the first place. It's weird because Phione and Heatran are on the banned list, but Zapdos and them are not.

There is an item cause, which is seen as extreme in standard competitive play. Yet they don't ban hax items. Imagine Brightpowder Garchomp. The hax would be enormous, so it's basically a coin flip for who can win. Dragonite beating Garchomp on a banned list is lol.

True, the prizes are nothing to scoff at.

Well I am seeing how horable they have made this turny with all the rualings so I don't cake that I cant go because its bad anyway, 4on4 double battle what kind of turny is this it and dont forget only Lv.50 or down. why cant they make it good with the normal ruals that we play with here. They also have made so many things broken, all the hax iteams can be used so all you have to do is put Them together and you have a uber team!
P.S To all thouse people who didn't get 20/20 on the test give it up, do you know how many people enter this thing and only the top will make it so shut up with the Ill be there if I make it, Even if you do get 20/20 the chance that you get to go is so slim, do you know how many people are trying for this!

Awesome. I can't wait for this set because I don't have Charizard,Venusaur and Blastoine from the base set yet and it will give me another chance to get them if they remake those cards. Will they remake the whole set or just some cards from that set?

Meh... I live in the UK, so I can't go. Not really much of a "world tournament". I'm going to do the test anyway

Also, I want more events. The USA get around 2 a year, while we only get one every 2 years

I found the reason why Dragonite and Tyranitar are blacklisted this time around: There's another rule stating that all of your Pokémon must be Level 50 or lower. As Dragonair and Pupitar evolve at Level 55, they're automatically out.

That Level 50 or lower rule, if you ask me, is the dumbest one. As I raise all of my Pokémon to be at Level 100, that means I have to create a new team from scratch. It also prohibits, sometimes rather unfairly, certain moves learned after Level 50 that can't be bred back (such as Leaf Blade on Leafeon). As I play outside of competitive circles, I'm not really too concerned about hax, as I sometimes use it myself.

What? I got only 19 correct? Oh well. No big loss. I dislike big tournaments for the video games anyway. I wonder what I got wrong. I must have misread something.

Well, I went to the Pokemon 10th aniversary tourny, and got PWNed so badly. I just examinded what teams other winners used, made a note of the six most used pokemon, and used thouse. I got my friend to train them to level 100. Didn't even know about EV's/IV's back then.

I love level 50 pokemon. I have a bunch. Since I'm not that far away from New York, I may try to get in. Wait, now that I think of it, I may be on vaction near LA. Wonder which I may try to do...
