Wow your busy tonight. Its a shame that only 6 of each energy is holo. They should have made all of them holo like red collection. Decent Decks though.

In the Battle Arena decks, are those Muscle Bands? Foil Fairy/Darkness energy??? PROMOS?? I'll take 20! Maybe in a few years we can go from Theme decks to English EX battle decks. Kinda disappointed that Trevor gets a card though because he's my least favorite character in the game. Seriously, he looks like a girl and has no good reason to exist as a human. Trevor should be like Siri or something for the XTransceiver.
Other cards are very nice, very nice. Bummed that Diancie is by 5ban on both but I think we all saw that coming. On the other hand, I think Crawdaunt is my new favorite XY card. I always liked the Crawdaunt cards and they should print another Team Aqua's Crawdaunt. Looks like the rest of the set should be mostly clear from 5ban art. I'm also hoping for a couple of the clay Pokemon things to be thrown in. That'd be awesome!
EDIT: Dang, I had my fingers crossed for Mega Diancie's ABCDEFGHIJKL attack....

Diancie-EX is WAY too fragile to be playable. The attacks are pretty interesting, but bad with only 140HP. Same goes for Mega Diancie. Too fragile, and it requires a Mega Evolution and doesn't have a Spirit Link, as far as we know.
Sceptile just got a LOT better. An extra Energy attachment per turn is decent acceleration, and the Healing portion makes it really good. Sceptile/Virizion/Genesect could easily become a thing.
The choices for the Theme Decks are mediocre, but they honestly didn't have much to work with. Trevor being a promo was unexpected, but I like it. Extremely dissapointing that they are both 1 type only as far as the decks go. It would have been the perfect opportunity to use things like Raichu, Shiftry, Milotic, or Blaziken. Still, it seems that the Pokemon Company International is slowly creeping up with a Promo Theme Deck every year. Hopefully, they can reach a point of using EX's, original cards, or re-issues of the Japanese Theme Decks.
Man, the artwork on Diancie-EX is fabulous. The card background is really what does it for me. It meshes really well, and almost makes the card look like a painting. Maybe it's just me, but it seems that the Promotional EX's nowadays have better artwork then the primary set releases, minus a few obvious exceptions.

Yay for Marrill (and I assume Azumarrill) as a fairy type! Still pulling for a fairy Gardevoir line. Not so yay that Honedge makes this set as yet another steel type...why can't we get this line in ghost for crying out loud? Sceptile is kind of cool. Free grass energy that also heals that Pokemon. I hope this card is holo.

Apparently, there's going to be Mega Gardevoir sleeves released with this set, so I guess you can count on Mega Gardevoir being in the set...
That would be neat. It would be a bit weird to have an Gardevoir EX and M. Gardevoir EX (I hope fairy) in this set but not have the evolutionary line.
Is this good value? I sort of think it is, but I'm not completely sure...
On the Japanese package it does say dummy over the two cards, which means that it wasn't the final product. I would say the 190hp is the one that is the right one.

Mega diancie will probably get a figure (or oversized card, ugh) when it releases in english. This is assuming she is not in the ORAS set, but as a promo EX, which they always make into a box/tin (Dianie wouldnt be a tin though haha). The japanese never get figures with their packs/promo box stuff. EDIT: Just learned we are getting a mega diancie box, with a diancie over sized card. Gosh darn it.
Very hyped for the battle arena deck, has Trevor, muscle band. and loads of playable cards. The holo energy looks rad too!
I did a rough estimation on the cards here, so I might not be right. The Fairy deck has the two holo Xerneas promos(about $3 ea.), an Aromatisse holo(about $4), and 6 holo Fairy energy, which should be $1 ea. if this is anything like the Red Gsect Collection. That plus all of the other cards is probably $18-$19. The Darkness deck has holo Darkness energy, which is a very popular type right now, so I'll add an extra $2 for the energy. But the real game-changer is that it has 2 Muscle Bands($4-$5 ea.) So I'd say the Darkness deck is about $29. The decks plus the coins and boxes are maybe another $1. So the whole thing is worth $40 or a little less. If I'm not mistaken, the MSRP is $30 and you can get it online for even cheaper, so it's a pretty good deal. Not quite as good as the Red Gsect but still decent.ScottSpain said:
