Yeah there are actually 2 versions of the dub. One which was shown quite widespread and another which stayed closer to the original. But I cannot remember the company name so I have never seen any of them. In some places the dubbing lets it down. I once mentioned Sakura and Li's romance to somebody and they thought I was making it up.

Yeah clamp version is best although I get lost with subtitles so I could do with english version. So is animax the name of that company which did the better dub? If it is then that is the version I want to see. I will try youtube for one episode and if I think it is a lot better I will get some dvds for it. I could get some japanese ones too.
There are technically 3 seasons of the show (but only 2 story arcs) and 2 movies. The first season ends with episode 35 and the Firey card. The second season ends with episode 46 with the Final Judgement, and it also concludes the Clow Card story arc. The third season goes through the whole Sakura (Star) Card story arc. The 1st movie takes place somewhere in the 1st season (it doesn't truly matter though, but it definately comes after the Storm card is sealed) and the 2nd movie takes place after the final episode.
I think there were 70 episodes and the 2 movies. There was 3 series but it was more like 2 series.
