BW/BW2 A female rival would be....?

I personally think that a female rival would add a new element to the game. It would be a change from the "norm" which in pokemon is always nice. Also it might even feel different competing against a female... Anyways what do you guys think? Would it be good or bad? Discuss!!! :p
 
NO SEXISM AT ALL.

We already have a female pro. And in hoen you could have a female rival. But, I think (as usal) it's a boy. But there are going to be at least more than one main non-protagonist female part. Mabey even the owner of the bad guy team will be a girl.
 
Umm... We've already got May... But I think another female rival would be nice. :)

I loved Cynthia as the champion in gen 4, so ya a new female protagonist would be awesome (and I know about the new professor, its awesome!)

How about a black protagonist? Why is everyone except for 2 people in the Pokemon world white?
