A First for Everything (UU Tier)

Do I even need to explain who this is?

I've never actually battled in the Under Used Tier so this is a first for me. Thankfully I have all of you that know this tier to help me. Not to mention Smogon. So now let's get started.

Murkrow @ Eviolite
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP, 252 Def, 8 Sp. Def

-FeatherDance
-Toxic
-Roost
-Taunt

I've seen this kind of Murkrow used a couple of times before I decided to use it. The main purpose of Murkrow is to set up and thanks to it's ability it can do that pretty easily. FeatherDance ruins physical sweepers making Murkrow a physical wall. Toxic is Murkrow's main form of damage which can hinder a lot of Pokemon that aren't immune to it. Taunt is the bane of Pokemon that like to set up entry hazards and status conditions. Roost is Murkrow's main form of recovery. Still Murkrow is a pretty decent Pokemon and I've kinda liked Honchkrow so using Murkrow is kinda fun.

Clefable aka Garnet @ Toxic Orb
Nature: Impish (+Def, -Sp. Atk)
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP, 176 Def, 80 Sp. Def

-Wish
-Seismic Toss
-Knock Off
-Heal Bell

Next is Clefable who I've named Garnet. If you haven't played Final Fantasy 9 you won't get the referance. That aside Clefable is a pretty decent Pokemon. Sure it's no Chansey but it was the only Pokemon besides Clefairy and Cleffa to have Magic Guard. The reason I gave her the Toxic Orb is so Clefable can still support my other Pokemon while not taking damage from Posion and not being hit with other status conditions. Wish is Clefable's recovery move and it can still heal my other Pokemon. Seismic Toss is for dealing decent chunks of damage to it's opponets. Knock Off makes Clefable annoying since the opponet losses their item. Heal Bell is a great way to heal my teams status. All in all Clefable is a decent Pokemon. Reminds me of when I beat Leaf Green with one.

Weavile aka Shadow @ Choice Band
Nature: Jolly (+Spd, -Sp. Atk)
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk, 4 Sp. Def, 252 Spd

-Pursuit
-Ice Shard
-Low Kick
-Ice Punch

Weavile was one of my favorite Pokemon to use in Foruth Gen competitive play so for me this is nostalgia. Anyway the reason for Weavile for having a Choice Band is to make it's Pursuits a lot stronger. Speaking of Pursuit this is Weavile's best method of taking out Psychic types not to mention it's boost for attacking switching opponets. Ice Shard is their for priority and stab. Low Kick let's Weavile handle Rock, Dark and Steel types and deal a lot of damage to heavy Pokemon. Ice Punch is for a stronger Ice type attack. Might replace Ice Punch with Night Slash. I'm not sure yet. Moving on.

Samurott aka Leviathan @ Life Orb
Nature: Adamant (+ Atk, - Sp. Atk)
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 Sp. Def

-Aqua Jet
-Mega Horn
-Waterfall
-Swords Dance

Samurott is my main sweeper along side Weavile. This thing is pretty powerful when used right. Swords Dance boost it's pretty decent attack power to pretty high heights. Aqua Jet is it's priority move and is pretty powerful. Waterfall is Samurott's main form of stab. Megahorn is their to deal with Dark and Psychic types in case Weavile goes down. Samurott is pretty powerful in both of it's attack stats but I'm starting to get attatched to this variant. Next up...

Weezing aka Big Bulk @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold (+ Def, - Atk)
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Sp. Def

-Clear Smog
-Flamethrower
-Will-O-Wisp
-Pain Split

I've used Weezing a couple of times in Fouth gen as well mostly because of how much of a defensive tank it is. Clear Smog preforms the same function as Haze excpet Weezing can deal damage and get stab from it. It was hard to choose between Thunderbolt and Flamethrower but I went with Flamethrower to help Weezing deal with Steel types. Will-O-Wisp can hinder physical sweepers a lot. Pain Split is Weezing's main form of recovery although I haven't used it much. Now on to the final Pokemon which is...

Sawk aka Zell @ Choice Scarf
Nature: Adament (+ Atk, - Sp. Atk)
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd

-Close Combat
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
-Payback

If you haven't guessed by now I'm a Final Fantasy nut job hence my current avitar. That aside Sawk is a pretty decent physical attacker with really strong moves. Close Combat is Sawk's most powerful attack and deals insane damage. Stone Edge helps against Flying types. Earthquake deals with most Posion types and Payback get's the jump on Psychic types. Sawk's Sturdy ability helps against a lot of Pokemon. I wouldn't be surprised if I decided to use a Reversal set for this thing.

Well that's my team. I've had a few test battles with it and so far it's won all of them. Then again it's only been in two so eh go figure. Regardless this team isn't perfect so I want you guys to give me some ideas for this team, Also I really should give Weezing a Black Sludge but once I do I'll edit it in. Till next time see ya!

Might I suggest using Medicham over Sawk? It has similar speed, but its ability Pure Power makes it far stronger. Here is a set I would suggest:
Medicham @ Leftovers
252 Attk, 252 Spd
Jolly (+Spd, -Spc. Attk)
Hi Jump Kick
Psycho Cut
Ice Punch
Thunder Punch
Hi Jump Kick is the main stab, and in my oppinion, better than Close Combat due to the fact that it doesn't drop its defenses, which is critical for slower sweepers. Psycho Cut is secondary stab, and the punches provide excellent type coverage. Since both Pokemon are somewhat slow, Leftovers is important for durability. This also makes an excellent baton-pass recipient.

You need to add EV Spreads for an RMT. I'll give you a few days, if you don't add them, I'm locking the thread.

^Thank you. ^_^ (sorry for the late response.)

Anyways, I don't see Stealth Rock mentioned anywhere on this team. Stealth Rock is a must, especially in UU where pokemon like Zapdos, and teams based around Hail are extremely common. It builds up damage fast, and makes it easier to kill stuff with Sawk, Weavile, and Samurott. I would drop Knock off on Clefable for Stealth Rock. I would also switch Toxic Orb to Leftovers. I see your point in running Toxic Orb, as it protects you from Sleep and Paralysis, but I think the extra HP from Leftovers would be more useful.

I feel Clefable is outclassed greatly by Eviolite Chansey in UU. If you want to keep Clefable, do what I said above with stealth Rock. If you switch to Chansey, I recommend:
Chansey@Eviolite
Bold
252 HP/252 Def/6 SpDef
~Softboiled
~Seismic Toss
~Thunder Wave or Toxic
~Stealth Rock

Softboiled lets you heal up, and Seismic Toss is the only way Chansey does anything to ghosts and steels. Toxic can build up damage, but since you're running a sweeper that's not the fastest in the world (Samurott) I think Thunder Wave might work as well. Chansey is the best wall in the UU metagame right now. To give you an idea of how ridiculous it is, Heracross with an Adamant Nature and 252 EVs in attack fails to OHKO Chansey with CLOSE COMBAT. A bit ridiculous if you ask me. <_<

Another thing I just noticed is that you have 2 Electric-weak pokemon (Murkrow and Samurott) but no resists or Immunities. I would switch out Weezing for some kind of Electric Resistance or a ground type, to help balance out your weakness. Gastrodon or Quagsire would work fairly well here, as they can freely switch into Electric attacks, and scout for any Grass types that might hurt Samurott, and eventually build up damage with Ice Beam, Toxic, and Stealth rock.

I didn't even consider how hail teams would hurt me. Thanks for awesome suggestions!
