First of all, introduce myself, Im Fabian, i'm chilean excuse me if you dont understand my english but its a little bit difficult write in other language xD.

Now the question for a old Card, The rockets minefield gym :

"whenever a player puts a basic pokemon onto his or her bench from his or her hand, he or she flips a coin. If tails, put damage counters on that pokemon"

The question is: how many damage counters put in the pokemon?

It may have been a typo but usually it is 2 damage counters when it says to do that.

I always thought you had to agree with your opponent about how many counters you'd place. That was sort of funny with my friends, but I never played it in tournaments so I don't know. Probably 2.
Hm, nice combo would be this with Kricky Swarm. Start with a Kricky, Mentor for 3 more and play this. You don't need to place more Pokes anyway, so guaranteed profit. ^^d

Yes it is usually 2 because it would not be fair if it is more than that. Most cards that have attacks like this one have 2 damage counters unless it says so otherwise. Your welcome.
